  3. We often are forced to program hard phones and ATA's with invalid e-mail addresses when bulk creating accounts. Once the e-mail invite is sent we lose the ability to assign credentials and activate the account. This is an important feature for us because periodically we remove unactive accounts to recycle licenses, and we fear we will remove legitimate devices that do not show they are in the activated state.

  4. It would be beneficial if, when having a phone with favorite/speed dial contacts AND managing user presence status if the favorites showed on the phone first, above the presence users rather than under then.

I am doing some auditing on the calls that our agents make to our customersSometimes our customer's call goes straight to their voicemail, but it seems that Ring central does not record this in the call recording - is it possible to set it so that any voicemails that we leave our customers are recorded please?

  6. This is useful when the customer wants to have a different outbound caller ID assigned to each extension so that It will appear that the extension is calling from a specific department.

  9. When scheduling a RingCentral video meeting, the RC app defaults to "Outlook web calendar" which we are not using at our company. Employees have to keep changing back to "Calendar app" every time there's an update to the RC app. We need a way to default the calendar option for users so that they don't have to keep switching this setting back. Another option might be to set the default to the "Calendar app".

Currently users are forced to choose between the softphone application or a paired desk phone as the default device for calling out in the desktop app. Please consider a more unified experience where a user can select the app or device they want to use to make an outbound call on demand each time they initiate an outbound call and/or give better options for assigning the outbound device. This could be as simple as putting a dropdown on the main screen of the app where you select your primary calling device, or picklist everytime you click something in the app…

  12. this would be useful because a lot of customers don't want to have to login to the web portal to do this. they want a button programmed on the handset that they can just push to turn on and off. Same goes for the RC PC App. if it can be done in there as well by just toggling a switch on and off. many customers would love the convenience that would bring them.

  14. Phones configure themselves by accessing plain text configuration files hosted at a certain, RingCentral-provided URL.   16. Customer want RingCentral Desktop App and RingCentral mobile app in call forwarding to be separate in call forwarding settings. That will also give option to toggle them off and on separately.

  17. Our request is that there be an option to have only calls to external users outside our company directory be recorded. Specifically giving an option to apply that to certain users if I select outbound or inbound there be an option to opt out of calls between users within the organization be recorded.

  20. I'm trying to find a way to remotely uninstall all ringCentral so that I can reinstall the RingCentral MSI and fix this. We have around 300 desktops and while not all of them are having this problem, I can't go computer to computer uninstalling this by hand.
