  1. Users may like the ability to have internal calls routed differently from external calls. For instance, having the ability to use this condition would allow a user to have all linked phones ring for a colleague, but only have the desk phone ring for a client.

  3. On the desktop app when there is a call incoming, the only contact information we can see is initials. We have no idea who is calling as there are thousands of contacts in my contact list. Please can this be made customisable so that we can see the name of the caller, plus company?

  6. Like with SMS/MMS messaging on smartphones, allow RingCentral users to send audio notes/files as text messages to other phones. Sometimes it is easier to send an audio message for the recipient to be able to hear and replay as needed or it is safer to send an audio message than text (for example when driving). In turn, a better method of listening to audio messages from others is needed.

They thought it would be a good option in user details to have a check mark if you want the new email address to be used in messages and notifications.Customer simply wants change and email address or repurpose and extension. They do not want to change any current call flows so they do not want to do a reset and assign.

  8. It would be useful to increase the number of contacts that can be added to the Ring Central App up to 20,000. This could be helpful for our company or larger companies that work with CRMs that automatically import contacts into the Ring Central App. Thanks!

  9. Customer contacted and is asking if we can add a feature to ring group when voicemail is left on user account. We currently have email notification and shared voicemail but they are asking if we can add option to ring the users.verbatim:If there a way to ring a group of people when a voicemail is left. We want our customers to leave a VM on the account. Then, the system rings a group of service technicians to notify them there is a voicemail left.

  11. ...ave a flow in which if the person stays on the line I would like it to goto an extension. Currently the greeting repeats 3 times before going to the extension. This is not desired. It would be better if it repeated only once before going to the extension. With everything being configurable why is this setting hard coded? Thanks.. As it will give the customers option to select how many times they want the IVR Menu Greeting to play in case the caller will not press anything. As right now its fixed to play the IVR menu 3 times.…

  12. Would love a user option that allows the on off of dynamically enabling Do No Disturb mode anytime user is in a RC meeting. No one really wants to hear phone calls come in when hosting or talking in a meeting. It is too difficult to toggle on off this mode manually every time a user enters and then is done with a meeting.But all my users agree they would like a feature that auto puts them in DND when they are in a meeting for them.

This helps distinguish your personal with your business account. Currently, we are required to use our personal phone for both a private and a business account.

  15. My colleagues receive my emails, meaning they are able to see the texts that RingCentral forwards to my email (in case I'm unavailable or out of the office). The problem with this, is that they only show the person's phone number, and not the contact name in the email. If one of my colleagues wants to email that person back because I am out of the office, they have to manually search through contacts to see who texted me, even though that person is in my contacts.   16. I mostly use the Text page, and I wish there were a way to customize my settings so that RC would automatically open to Text instead of Message. Message seems to be the default, so I just waste a few seconds every morning clicking over to Text.

  17. Please can the date/time format be changeable or atleast by default use the local OS settings.E.g. we are in the UK but the date/time is in US format Month/Day and not Day/Month.
