  1. Please add templates to the RC app within Salesforce. This feature is enabled in the mobile app and desktop app. This is a missing piece. Additionally it would be nice to be able to have an sms module in Ring central to track all sms for a contact in Salesforce.

  2. Please make inbound SMS text messaging included with the plans for purposes like 2 factor authentication codes. Like phone.com, inbound text messaging works automatically without doing anything but they do need to register for outbound text messaging.

  9. The template feature in Ring Central is almost useless when a business needs to have multiple templates for a number of frequently used responses. This is because they cannot be sorted, either alphabetically or numerically. It makes it extremely difficult to find the needed template. Ai solves this problem and there are already some apps that are offering this and more. RC is falling behind. The sorting should be a relatively easy thing to fix. Hope you can get this feature usable for us users. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

  11. I am being asked if the RingCentral platform could be a messaging application to warn people of possible upcoming weather conditions. To send an alert via text and or email. Also, if it could include personal numbers and emails. I would need to know the cost of something like this per month and per message if applicable. Could there be a group made to send it as well. Lastly, if it would require a manual add of each device/number/email.

I would like to be able to order the template texts alphabetically or what ever so that I can find them in a logical order. ie - all texts pertaining to Reminders, or Paperwork Due, etc. - I like and use the templates every day. I used to have a text file on the side of my RC that I would cut and paste into RC. So great addition!

  14. So I actually there is no trigger for whenever you send the sms. Like there is a trigger for whenever you receive an sms. It would be great if we find the trigger for outbound messages as well. Like mentioned in the attached screenshot.

  16. Please add a < and > in the upper part of the phone app's text screen - like the voice message screen - to easily move through texts. Right now they are listed vertically. Open one and it reverts to the prior screen: you don't know which text you just read... or which one is next to read.
    Using the left and right arrows like the voice messages means you read/reply to a text, then click an arrow to go up/down to the next one. PLEASE. I need this.

  20. As of right now, all archiving is done on a per text basis. For each individual text sent, that generates an archive in a standard note file. For the purpose of consolidating files, it would be very convenient if you could choose to opt into having a text thread downloaded at the end of a day (midnight) all into a single file so that way it’s easier to reference and entire conversation rather than having to go through each individual file to piece them together. Other text archiving services do this so I know the functionality is possible.
