  2. In the RingCental Phone app, have the SMS/Text notifications respect the users Schedule.

    This would have the app not make any notifications for a text message outside of the users scheduled hours. This would behave just as it does for the phone aspect. If a users schedule is set to 9-5, the phone would not ring from 5:01 to 8:59 the next day. Text message notifications should behave the same. When a user is then in their normal schedule, they would see the new text notification just like they see a missed call notification.

  6. be able to block sms for customers who requested out out

Whenever the customer do an auto reply, auto send via SMS to different numbers , they want to have the ability to identify or get a notification if the receiving number is an invalid number, either landlines that cannot receive messages, or if messaging to those numbers are not allowed or provisioned by their carrier. They should not get an error that says "Message cannot be sent".

  14. The app has a limitation that allows renaming up to 30 groups, and any attempts to rename more than that will result in failure. We would like to request an increase in the number of groups that can be renamed within the app.

  15. I have advised my clients that when they want to cancel their appointment for my business to send a text message containing the word "CANCEL" to my company number. Instead of me receiving just the SMS those customers ending up on the OPTED-OUT numbers, now I have no way of sending SMS to them. Please remove this keyword "Cancel" from automatically going to opted out number, my keyword for opting out of SMS is "STOP"

    As a workaround while this is being reviewed, instead of asking customers to respond with the word Cancel, you could ask to respond with 1 to Accept and 2 to Cancel.

  16. We have a user that would like to send text messages as another user. I have looked in the settings on the ringcentral app and I am only able to change to my own number. Would this be a setting that we can enable?

    The extension for the user is ext. 4352 Crystal Jones. She is wanted to text out using her coworkers number (ext. 2503) Lisa Shockey for when she’s out sick. Is Crystal able to change her number and do this?

  19. Please add templates to the RC app within Salesforce. This feature is enabled in the mobile app and desktop app. This is a missing piece. Additionally it would be nice to be able to have an sms module in Ring central to track all sms for a contact in Salesforce.

  20. Please make inbound SMS text messaging included with the plans for purposes like 2 factor authentication codes. Like phone.com, inbound text messaging works automatically without doing anything but they do need to register for outbound text messaging.
