  1. This would be helpful for POC Customers who would like to know how much time they have left to test and evaluate RingCentral before their POC account is disabled. It would also be helpful for the RingCentral System Mailbox user to have a link in the timer to be able to extend the POC up to 14 days after the countdown timer expires.

  2. Admins need better and quick visibility into how many users are assigned to specific security roles. Currently, they have to open each individual security role and then select "Assigned Users" to assess how many people are assigned to each individual security role. The ask is to add a column to the Security Roles page that shows how many users are assigned to each security role. Add an on-hover ability when highlighting the number that shows the coma-separated names of the users assigned to that role to allow for faster spot-checking of roles with fewer users.

  3. Admins need to be able to manage and delete security roles and manage users quickly and effectively. For example, if an Admin has created and tested a new custom security role with the purpose of extending analytics capabilities to end users and the admin needs to delete the old security role, reassign all the users to the new security role, and make reassign a few more users to a different security role.   4. The request is, in the DN properties, create an option to move the DID to Number Inventory. There is no way to do this at this time. Currently, admins have accidentally assigned a DID from Number Inventory to a user as a Digital Number. The admins need a way to move the Digital Number back to Number Inventory.

  5. The request is for enhancements to managing Additional Local Number Licenses. For example, when deleting a phone number from Inventory - automatically delete the Additional Local Number License. When deleting Additional Local Number Licenses (from Licenses & Inventory) - present the form with phone numbers associated with ALN prior to review and confirmation screen. In Number Inventory, provide additional columns that display who/what phone number was previously assigned, to provide easier validation for removal.

  6. The request is to identify valid users and send them back an error or fax failed message to encourage them to re-send the email with an attachment. Currently, email to fax without an attachment gives no response - and is dropped by the Proofpoint spam filter.

Customer is looking for a way to send customized banner OR pop-up notifications in the RingCentral app, much like how RingCentral pushes banners/pop up notifications when we release a new update or feature. I will add a screenshot as an example of the banners we see!Use Case: for pushing company announcements & important information for end users to see when they launch the app. While communication like this can be accomplished via the company-wide team chat, if an end user is apart of many teams, messages can easily be missed.   8. Scenario: a user is apart of around 100 teams. They do not want to hear an audio notification for every single team, and they can turn this off in their settings. However, for 10-15 of their teams, they want audio notifications to remain on. A partner who is working with us on this opportunity indicated that a competitor offers this feature and stated that it would be beneficial if we did as well: A competitor offers end users a star rating for quality after calls and if they report a low 1-2 star rating the end user can check a box that automatically creates a ticket and the call quality issue is investigated. Is there any similar functionality offered by RingCentral that speaks to this kind of proactive automation of addressing voice quality issues?

  12. Chat history can be convenient, there are some conversations you don’t really want to save. This is where self-destructing messaging apps come into play. (e.g. snapchat). These apps automatically destruct messages when they are read or after a certain period of time, that you get to decide. The idea here is the ability to send a Glip message using a "Self-Destructing" send button. The Glip message would be auto deleted after x amount of time.

MVP: [messaging] when Glip message is deleted, also delete mobile notification.When mobile notifications are enabled (android and iOS) : upon deleting a particular Glip message, the corresponding mobile notification (android and iOS) may still still visible. Said mobile notification often contains a portion of the original Glip message, or the full glip message.This may not be possible, but it seems like a good idea.

Whatsapp is planning a new update that will let app users recall or revoke sent text messages, as well as edit texts after they have been sent.Pressing and holding on a sent message within the iOS version of WhatsApp now includes two new options in the small menu.However, there is a catch: you can only revoke messages that haven't been 'seen' by the receiver.   15. This customer required notification to callers that there call is being monitored. This is only for inbound and outbound calls that will be monitored. The customer feels this is required by law in any 2 party consent state. To play a blanket message on any call (whether it will be monitored or not) is very disruptive to their business especially for out bound calls.

  16. Customer has a large installation of MacBooks with various chipsets - Intel, Apple M1 and soon Apple M2. They are requesting a universal installer be created so they don't have to know what chipset the MacBook is running. This makes pushing out software updates extremely time consuming and frustrating. They have stated that RingCentral is the only software vendor that does not have a universal installer for MacOS.

  17. within RCCC when an agent makes an outbound call through the MAX directory the number shows within the supervisor application not the name the agent has chosen to dial. Cruise would like supervisors to see that name of the organisation the agents are calling from the directory
