Add Public Holidays into the Call Queue Schedule
I understand that we have custom rules in place but when you are a big organisation with multiple call queues in different time zones the config can become a mess.We have simplified our call queues by using the overflow features instead of custom rules. This has set our routing in place and now we want a feature to be able to specify when the office will be closed.We should be able to input public holidays in the schedule, automatically setting that call queue to not available on the specific days.

This will be implemented in November 2024 as Call Queue Custom Rule Templates!

How can RC continue ignoring and putting this off, giving canned answers and keep asking people to vote and suggest for this to be created??? Over my 20 years administering pone systems and working with different phone vendors ,RC is the only one who does not have a simple and efficient way for clients to create and program Holidays Schedules. With other vendors I could program office closures for hundreds of call queues within 5 to 10 minutes. I now have 50 call queues plus a bunch of Autoreceptionist numbers and every year I have to reprogram / recreate over 600 custom rules in order for our phone system to show our office is close on different days of the year. It takes about 10 minutes to reprogram each custom rule in RC. That is working 4 days me or a staff member has to spend doing what should be a 10 minutes task. How likely does RC think, we'll willing to renew our contract knowing this??

I saw this was to be implemented in November of this year. Has it been implemented yet? If so, do we need to contact Support to have the feature show on our account? I do not see the Call Queue Custom Rule templates in the Call Queue templates on our account.

I simply want to create one schedule for our main company lines that includes holidays, have all company numbers subject to that schedule, AND route calls from specific numbers to the appropriate departments during open office hours. Without having to set up multiple holiday schedules for each queue.

When constructing a call queue template, under
"Call Handling & Members", the
"custom rules" tab is not available for edit (it is available for a queue but not for a queue template). Add the ability for custom rules to be applied to the queue template feature. -

Hi !It would amazing to have an option "Apply Template" for customer rules on Call Queues. (I have like 20 locations and I have to set a custom rule in every location one by one). You can find this option on Users with extensions custom rules, but you can't on Call Queues. Thank so you so much for your help!
