  1. It would be great to be able to break down the roles per locations within RC.

    Call queue managers should have a check box to select whether they want access to voicemails or not. I have regional directors that would like to access call recordings and logs but do not want to receive voicemails as well. Unfortunately, in order to see the call logs the managers must currently have full access.

  2. All numbers for RingCentral Fax only accounts are equipped with Voice and Fax services by default. There is no option to change number to "Fax" only number for fax only accounts. Unfortunately there is no way to stop anyone from placing a voice call to a customer's fax number.Customer wants to have the option to change the number type of their phone numbers to "Fax" only. They don't want to receive any phone calls to their Fax number/s.

Play the recorded message once the outbound call is answered by the third-partyI believe that this feature would be valuable for the following reasons:It would provide transparency to the third party about the call being recorded.It could help to reduce the number of dropped calls, as the third party would know that the call is being recorded and would be less likely to hang up.

  7. Unfortunately, the current custom role lacks the capability to change roles within the user management section for that specific custom role. Allowing this ability could potentially lead to the customer changing their own role to a Super User, raising concerns about misuse or incorrect platform configurations, as well as unauthorized access to privileged information.

    Our objective is to empower the customer administrator to modify the ability of end devices to dial international numbers when necessary, without providing them with broader role-changing capabilities. Essentially, this enhancement request revolves around a straightforward adjustment in call restrictions.

  10. I would like to provide some feedback regarding an issue I encountered while using the app.

    I prefer using the rich text input mode in conversations. However, every time I switch to another conversation, the input mode resets to plain text mode. This is quite inconvenient for me.

    It would be great if the app could remember the input mode I used last time, or provide a select setting to choose the input mode. This feature would significantly enhance the user experience.

  11. We just purchased and deployed Cisco's 8851 phones to our entire company from Spectrum, programmed/supported by Ring Central. After 3+ weeks of working with our IT department trying to figure out how to get our company logo on the wallpaper of the phones, to have it disappear in 1-2 hours after we get it on there, I found on the forums here that each time the phone provisions, it removes the Cisco saved programming that is directly entered into the Cisco background 3rd party software.   16. I'm trying to add our Ring Central phone numbers on SMS Notification so our agents can receive a text message after we miss a call or receive a voicemail on the call queue. Our RingCentral phone tree has a 24/7 call queue as option 9. If/when a customer uses this option and none of our team is available to answer, we want a text message alert to be sent to the whole team so the first available person can respond. We would prefer this text to be received on each team member's Ring Central phone number.

  18. Please make it possible to set up (1) an anonymous hotline and (2) and an anonymous voicemail box. It would be useful to have a phone number and a voicemail box that callers could use to submit anonymous complaints without revealing their phone numbers. Thank you.
