  1. I have several guys, each with video conferencing a dozen or more times per day. They need to change every message every time. That adds up in man-hours and frustation.

  2. External users, having the same domain with the company are creating free glip account. They are getting an email notification that their sign up was declined due to the admin settings. We would like to decline them but turn off that email notification.

  3. It is currently not possible to pause or stop recordings when the automatic call recording feature is turned on. We would like to have that ability. The current method to pause or stop a recording is only available with the on-demand (manual) recording process. Our employees may not remember to start a recording every call - and we may have some people who call and do not want to be recorded. The same option to press *9 to pause an on-demand recording should work for automatic recordings.

  4. This will be helpful in complying to client's privacy. We should be able to choose what user extension can use on-demand recording for both phone calls and video meetings.

In the Call Queue Wait Settings, there is a setting called "When members are available, but no members answer or all members are busy or unavailable" with a drop down, but the only option in the drop-down is to wait (then there is a subsequent option whether to wait for primary members or primary & overflow members).Today we had a fire drill, so all of the call queue members went offline, but callers just stayed in the queue until they hit their maximum caller wait time and got disconnected.   9. We're an organization of recruiters and sales staff that are now 90% working from home. During the pandemic we all started using our cell phones - because we hadn't migrated to Ring Central (which we did Summer 2021). Staff are used to saying "Siri - please call...". We're trying to get our staff to only use the Ring Central Mobile app - but they miss handsfree virtual assistant dialing. I'm sure this presents complications with Siri and Google but here it is - that is the request. Cheers and thank you!

One of the main issues we have with the Chat is that team members sometimes miss messages - either they miss the notification top right or the window hasn't been opened and it's knocked them offline.In the old days of MSN Messenger, they had a great feature where you could send a nudge and it would shake the screen or pop up to the front window. This would be really useful - at the moment we often end up having to Whatsapp team members to say "check your Glip" because they've not seen the message or it's not notified them…

I hope we can add the TTS option / typing box inside the Admin portal 's Auto receptionist > company greeting > custom - as an option too aside from recording and uploading an mp3/wav Text to speech recording. Customers should have a built in box there to type Text to speech instead of doing the lengthy workaround of TTS via IVR menus - specially when they don't want to do key presses or select extensions - but just do a Company greeting via text to speech.

Yealink has a great dual connect headset (WH63) that can flip between deskphone and softphone/computer. https://www.yealink.com/product/headset-wh63 Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Ring Central because Ring Central's firmware for the Yealink phones is outdated. This was my message to Yealink after hours of figuring this out. Is it possible to push/help Ring Central to update their auto-provisioned Firmware to V86 for the T42S and T46S Yealink Phones? If I update my T42S/T46S handset firmware to V86 so that I can use your WH63 headset, their settings will downgrade the firmware back to V81 and thus the headset is unusable.See: https://support.yealink.com/en/portal/compatibleHowever:

  15. Currently, if you disable/delete a user from the RC admin console, all conversations with this user disappear. This includes direct 1-on-1 communications, as well as ad hoc groups (not just their messages, but the whole group disappears). Often times, these groups contain pinned/bookmarked messages and attachments that are important.It would make more sense if the past employee's content was left intact, but their name/avatar/profile simply denotes their off-boarded status. A group shouldn't disappear until the last person in the group no longer has an account.

  16. When I create an event on the calendar for a group, it automatically sends out a notification to the group chat that I have created an event. It overwhelms our group chat when I have 30 events that I'm creating in a month! I would like to be able to turn off the notifications to the chat. Everyone sees the event on the calendar anyway.

  17. I would like more options for repeating events on the calendar. We have a bi-weekly meeting, but I have to manually create the event since the repeating options are only "every day, every weekday, every week, every month, every year."

  19. I use the different extensions on my account for different reasons/businesses. I don't like that in order to check my text messages, missed calls, etc for one extension, while I'm logged into another extension, I have to log off that extension and log back on into the other extension.

  20. This function was lost in the upgrade. We need this back to quickly sort our fax transmissions. We need the field of "fax number" along with "name" (name of recipient). After the upgrade, there is only one field for fax number available.
