Data Retention Policy Verbiage Update
When an Administrator inputs a certain date for the Data Retention Policy, previous messages stay intact. We would like to see the previous messages prior to the time of entry to no longer be visible. If you click the 'Learn More' link on the UI, it goes to a non-existent link so the product feedback is 'please improve the text' for this feature, there is no indication that the retention policy STARTS from the time of entry.

Timed User Roles
To be able to have timed user roles, i.e. one for the day and one for night. That way we could automatically bar outgoing calls and features for out of business hours for certain extns if required

Make video calls HARDER to click accidentally.
Add a step or move the video call feature. Too many pocket video conferences with large groups. I’m confused as to why it’s so easy to accidentally activate.

If users simply turn on DND, they can't even take internal calls. We need this option in the new app!!

Receiving a que call while on a regular call.
We have very expensive marketing calls coming in and our agents know they will not receive a marketing call if they are on the phone. Because ring central takes them out of the call que. So they do not use the ring central phone to make their calls because it takes them out of the que. I need them to receive marketing call while they are on the ring central phone. In our business we use the phone all day and it encourages the agents to want to be off the ring central phone waiting for a marketing call. This…

Add Granular Read/Write/Delete Role Permissions
I would like the ability to give different IT admins granular read/write/delete role permissions. For example, I want someone to have the ability to view all phone numbers, but not the ability to delete it or to change it. I want to give someone the permission to view the Auto-Receptionist settings, but not change them. Or the ability to update call queue members but not to delete it.

Allow faxing via the RingCentral Phone app for message-only extensions
The RingCentral Phone app will allow login via a message-only extension, but there is no functionality there. Being able to send faxes would be incredibly useful. Especially if your only option to send a fax is using the print driver (only available via the RingCentral Phone app).

Pull Job Title and Department fields from Active Directory
When we assign users to a number there are fields for Job Title and department. We have been filling this out when setting up new users but have realised that this is causing data duplication. Is there a way we can get these fields pulled from the Active directory user that is already set up before we assign them a number. I know that our users use Microsoft Single Sign-on to sign into RC so the link to O365 is already established. We use Azure AD so if the link to O365 is there then it shouldn't a stretch to…

Filter call log and recordings through Role Domain settings
Request is for the ability for defined users (site admins) in different sites to be able to only access call log and recordings for users within the site(s) they have domain role access to. The current custom role domain definition does not extent to the call logs/recordings.

Ability to have hold music start at different intervals, or the ability to have multiple hold music that will be selected randomly
We have hold music that has about 7 different topics. When somebody is put on hold they automatically just here the first topic as it always starts at the start. We would like to have these randomized so other topics in the hold music can play first - it the option to put a few different files of hold music in and they will all play randomly. This will allow for us to have multiple topics of hold music being listened to from our customers

It would be very, very helpful if we could receive a notification reminder for unfinished tasks.
lets say I want the floors mopped once a week. It doesn't matter which day so long as it gets done once a week. So I create a task for it and my employee gets a notification on Monday to mop the floors but if he doesn't remember to do it that day it is simply forgotten because there are no reminders. It would be nice if another notification was sent at least daily to remind the user that he/she has an uncompleted task. Everybody would benefit from this . Add a distinction for personal/work calls via RC App
I work from home and use my cell phone/RC app for the majority of my calls. Aside from seeing my office number, there is not a distinction of personal/work calls. I like seeing the persons number so I can search the account as I am receiving the phone call to help with customer service and the person feeling like we care. Integrate Admin Portal with Support Portal so Admins can create a support case/ticket from 1 portal
Currently, having to log into a separate portal to submit or create/view a ticket is an extra step that adds time to go from 1 portal to the other to troubleshoot issues or follow up on tickets with RC.

Export tasks to Google or Outlook calendar
We use a Google Calendar to manage office appointments and meetings. Would be nice to export tasks to the calendar so we can keep everything centralized.
