  1. On Windows the RC app needs to make it easier to text (not messaging) to an outside phone. As it is right now, you have to click on Phone symbol on the left and hit + symbol at top right and hit "Send new text", or go to the + symbol first. Either way, this is very confusing to new users who are being trained to use the app in my office. You guys should design a new symbol on the left for SMS text messaging. Also, the current symbol for in-app messaging is confusing because it looks too much…

  2. Please update Firmware Update to Yealink T42S phones to support WF50 WiFi Dongle. The WF40 WiFi dongle does not support the 5GHz wireless band. After reviewing with Yealink support directly, the V84 firmware and newer does support WF50 with the T42S phones.

  3. It is helpful to differentiate between my messages (messages sent) and messages from others (messages received). This allows me to easily differentiate messages within a discussion.

  4. Most phone systems allow something like a "pickup group" which gives users in the same group the permission to pickup a ringing call on another extension. For example, lets say we have 10 users in a queue and 3 are away from their desk. However, one of those users forgot to set their desk phone to DND - a call comes into the queue and rings on the phone. Allow another user in the queue to pickup that call by dialing a code or pressing a button and entering the extension

  5. We Really need to have better Call Routing Via the IVR Auto Receptionist. Add a Timeout and Destination including Extensions and Queues. Today a call into the IVR plays 3 times before getting a limited choice of moving the call. Quite Frankly that's terrible. Call Routing should allow for calls to be sent to an IVR and immediately or after xx go somewhere else. So you could play a greeting then send the caller somewhere or play no greeting and have the call redirected right away.

  6. When scheduling in google calendars, there is an option for a RingCentral Video Meeting Add-on. However, if one wants to schedule a meeting without video, there is no option for just adding a Conference call, which there should be instead of entering it manually.

  7. Good morning,We would like to schedule meetings using our default mac osx calendar with our RingCentral GLIP app, opposed to using Office 365 or Google. When will GLIP integrate with Apple's Mac OSX Calendar? This is a very need feature we would find very helpful if implemented.

  8. Call queues are almost useless if members can't access the messages. We may have 100 messages over a weekend, Either I have to give a receptionist Admin permissions so he/she can access the voice mails or they have to sit on the phone for an hour taking messages. I am amazed that this isn't standard. How do people deal with this?

  9. We need to a few more fields in profiles. We need a fax fields and a emp id field. to have custom fields would be amazing.!! I could get rid of the of our Master company list (spreadsheet) if we four more fields! I am sure this would benefit other customers as well. And its low hanging fruit....

  10. Right now Admins can still see who calls all lines, the ability to designate a line completely anonymous would be benficial.

  11. Our old system let us dial for example:9 plus the phone number and it would show the main company number8 plus the number and it would show the number of another phone # on the account (e.g. the person's direct line, or just another selected number to show)RC support suggested me to change the caller ID of the phone in the admin portal, however we have multiple phones that are used heavily during the day (all desk phones, no mobile app) and the employees need to be able to quickly select which company # to show when dialing out. The…

  14. This would allow us to launch external applications at the time of incoming call in the same way that we do when using the Phone app. Things like screen pops with additional information from our CRM can be initiated with this functionality.

  15. In the Live Reports, there should be a report for # of voicemail. In the Performance Reports, there should be a KPI for VM Redirects. That way, the redirects VMs can be compared side-by-side with the actual voicemails so users and admins can easily find out how many people are hanging up instead of leaving a voicemail.

  16. The old windows RingCentral App that is about to be retired has a very pleasing Smart Phone like text messaging that the new RingCentral App does not offer. Please allow for the New RingCentral App to be configured by the user so the user only sees what they want to see. I for one only want to see the customers message on the left of a screen with a unique background color and my texts on the right of the screen in a different background color. I do want to see my callerid so I can be sure that the…

  17. Currently, the SMS API only allows sending from extensions that are directly assigned to the logged in account. It would be EXTEREMLY useful to be able to either a) allow the main number account to send from any valid extension or b) create a way that extensions permissions could be assigned to multiple accounts.Use case: all our sales team use their ringcentral direct number as their primary method of phone/SMS interaction with all customers. I would also like to inject some automated SMSs into that stream (eg order status updates). This keeps the interaction 1:1 between customer and sales rep…

  18. When scheduling a conference from the web portal it produces based on the home country invites in a non E.164 format. Which is causing issues when international attendees are trying to attend a conference - as they are not aware of the country code to to dial as a prefix. As a result, participants won't be able to join the conference.

  19. At least for outgoing calls. Not much value having just the number in the history when you still need to look up the extension for a call back. Also, you can't determine the time and duration for a particular call, if you don't know the associated extension. My old desk phone could do this.

  20. This will allow the user to not have to touch the curser to start typing, which would create for a smoother experience for the user. At times multiple calls can come in at once and if you're in the middle of work, it completely stops you and distracts you.
