  1. Currently there is a Permission in custom roles to restrict a user from accessing Messages & Notifications settings from SW but this permission is too restrictive when disabled for a user. There are certain things a user should be allowed to do and somethings not allowed. The ask is for more granular control of the different sections within each category (messages versus notifications). For example, allow a user to see all of the settings, but don't allow them to change the email address where notifications and voicemail to email are sent. Or don't allow them to turn on notifications via…

  2. For example, out of the provisioned 6 lines, lines 1-5 are configured for both inbound and outbound calls. Then Line 6 is configured for outbound only. This would help Healthcare customers ensure that someone is always able to dial 911.

  3. I use notes a lot in my teams to capture actions, plans etc. It would be great if I could pop out the notes editor so I can continue to pull in content from Glip into that note.

  5. GLIP had a feature that allowed us to create Events - this is how our team tracked who was in the office or PTO or WFH

  6. I often takes quick notes, and current way doing it is inconvenient. I have to either post a message to my self, or enter my own conversation and create a note there. It would be great if I can easily create and manage my notes from left nav panel, and notes can be organized into folders. Of course it can be shared to others instantly.

  7. It's not easy to know that you may miss a task unless you are constantly looking at the team that task is in. Having a centralized place for all tasks would make sure things didn't get missed.

  8. In the current RingCentral App, there is the ability to open a note and then minimize it. Would like this feature available in Jupiter. I use this feature to copy and paste notes from the previous meeting and into a new note for the current meeting.

  9. Today, I look at tasks in a group assigned to team members, but I receive the full list of 10's of tasks. I'd like to see a search parameter to filter only on "uncompleted" , "in progress" , "blocked" or a mix.

  10. When I'm chatting with somebody, there is one thing I need to do later, I would like to mark as a to-do list or right-click to create a task and assign it to somebody.
When I don't have time to deal with the conversation right now, I would like to mark as a to-do list or right-click to create a task and assign it to somebody.
When I'm in Note, there is a note I don't have time to do it now, I would like to mark as a to-do list or right-click to create a task and assign it to somebody.

  11. Why I can only click the title of the Note for full-screen review/edit?

  12. we do a lot of call backs and follow up and it would be great to use the RC app rather than using Zapier or some other app to dump numbers into our crm.  This would make RC a mini crm for tracking call history until a number is actually converted.   We would also be able to them track history in the mobile app too.  Don’t forget about the smbs who don’t want to pay for added services in order to track customer touch points.

  13. when you see the number bubble for new/unread there is no further indication that it could be a text message or other message type other than missed call/voicemail. It would be nice to show new/unread for all types by default or at minimum show an indicator number next to each message type so we don’t have to guess.

  14. Currently, you can only add and move teams in/out of folders using a drop-down menu. I think it would be easier if you could just click, drag, and drop teams (and perhaps people too) into desired folders in the left-pane.

  15. It's an age-old request, but it would be great if Glip had the ability to break a large task up into smaller subtasks - each with their own assignees and due dates.

  16. Glip’s options for recurring tasks and events are far too limited for real-world productivity. We need options that allow intervals like - recur every # of weeks and recur on the last Friday of the month. Basically, look at how Google calendar offers recurring events and copy it!

  17. I’d like to be able to assign tasks to everyone on staff at once. I’d also like to be able to send a message to everyone’s personal chats at once.

  18. Hello,

I opperate a company that floats a lot of tasks and ideas around. One thing we have done is colorcode certain concepts in order for them to stand out differently on the calendar view. The problem is we have more ideas and projects then the current color options provided in Glip. Is there any plans to have that increase?

  19. Comments don't tend to make great, snappy, actionable task titles, so when converting a comment into a task, I think the comment should automatically be added to the task description for context while letting you create a new task title right away.
