  1. Feature Request: Auto-Attach Recorded RingCentral Meetings to Salesforce Ticket Reference

    Request Summary:
    We would like to request a feature enhancement where the RingCentral app automatically attaches recorded meetings to the related Salesforce ticket reference when a user schedules, hosts, or records a meeting associated with a Salesforce case.

    Problem Statement:
    Currently, agents and users who conduct multiple meetings per day must manually download and upload the meeting recording to the relevant Salesforce ticket. This process is time-consuming and introduces the risk of human error, including attaching the wrong file or forgetting to upload the recording altogether.

  2. We operate a shelter for abused persons, so we get a lot of calls from abusers, exes, etc. It would be awesome to have a feature where, after hours, we could toggle on “selective call acceptance” with a pre-populated list of caller IDs from clients, police, social workers, etc.

    Call screening is great, but when you’re dealing with stalkers etc., it’s not really enough.

When a parked call is sitting for x amount of time (example, 30 seconds) make the line blink and maybe have a sound different to the normal ring play to remind everyone that we should really be getting back to it before it times out or the caller gets annoyed and hangs up. This is very important for restaurants. This was a feature on our very old phones through Spectrum Business and I'm surprised it's not already built into the Poly phones for Spectrum Enterprise.

  4. Currently, we do not have an option to disable the 'Call waiting audio alert' in RC for Teams Embedded App.

    The only option available is to enable/disable the 'Call waiting' option.

  5. Our Azure environment is in GCC High, which does not use the same RingCentral app. The options we have for enabling provisioning require the Tenant URL and Secret Token. Looking for an alternative way of generating a long-lasting token, or an alternative method of authenticating for SCIM.

  6. We were using RingCentral for HubSpot chrome extension to call our customer before. And now as this sees sunset, we have added the RingCentral as a full integration into HubSpot and started using Call function.

    What's happening now is, when we start a call type task from the task queue in HubSpot, it automatically calls the customer. Which we do not want. We want the control over when to call the customer.

    We have contacted HubSpot and at the moment they don't have a setting to turning off this feature. Please have a feature in RingCentral to turn this off.

    Currently, SMS messaging within HubSpot is a 1:1 interaction tied to individual users. This request proposes the ability to create a shared SMS inbox in HubSpot, where multiple users can:

    Call Recordings for RingCentral are available for playback within the HubSpot ecosystem for each call recording and object that is created with a recording. The recording is always stored on the RingCentral side and is not available to be stored within the HubSpot environment due to storage limits

  19. This idea is to synchronize contacts from your CRM directly into RingCentral. This would provide several key benefits:

    • Improved Caller ID: When customers call, their names will be properly displayed in RingCentral, eliminating the need for external Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions to identify callers.
    • Simplified Call Handling: Easily create customized call routing and handling rules based on your CRM contacts.

    We will use this idea to aggregate interest in this feature across all CRMs, including, but not limited to, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zendesk, Bullhorn, Pipedrive, and more.
