  1. The customer would like to customize the caller ID display on Yealink desk phones for calls routed through a Call Queue. Specifically, when a customer dials the company hotline and the call is answered by a user in the queue, they want the phone display to show additional internal information associated with the customer’s extension or account.

    Current Behavior:
    Currently, the phone displays:

    The Call Queue number that was dialed (e.g., Hotline Number), and

    The caller's phone number.

    Requested Behavior:
    Instead of displaying just the phone number in item #2, the customer would like to show custom text such as:

  4. The termed users in the MS 365 as 'Active users', but they marked these termed users as 'Do not show in GAL' and in the RC app, these users are still showing as company contacts; their request is to not show these users in RC app.

  5. Filter contacts when transferring calls to only users with the appropriate license to receive calls.

    Users with a license that does not accept calls (ex Video Pro) show up in the company directory when transferring calls.

    Attempting to transfer a call to these users will go directly to voicemail with no greeting or introduction. This is not ideal for users as it is unclear what is happening.

  7. Customer can see their Bluehorn Contacts via the RingCentral desktop/web app. However, they are expecting to view the Bluehorn Mobile Contacts via the RingCentral mobile app, as well.

Currently, when users connect their RingCentral app's Contact Directory to Microsoft 365 using their company email addresses, all users within the Entra Hybrid Tenant are imported into the Global Address List (GAL). This behavior is undesirable as it exposes internal users to all employees, including those without direct communication needs.

    Implement a feature that allows administrators to limit the synchronization of contacts to specific Active Directory (AD) Security Groups. This would enable the creation of a controlled GAL, ensuring that only designated users are visible to the intended audience.

  10. I have hundreds of clients, some whom I've only met once or only online. It would be nice to be able to add a photo to their contact card so when I see them in public I can put a name to a face.

  15. In the RingCentral app in Contacts, you can create teams and view members' statuses. For some reason in the RingCentral Teams Plugin, this option is not available. Would be great to be able to view those teams in the plugin as well.

  20. Sometimes we need to Edit or View a contact when we are texting them or receiving a text from, You can't do this quickly in the Desktop app. You have go to Contacts, Look for the Contact then Utilize the Pencil etc.

    Same process for viewing the Contact information while texting them. You can't see their information quickly.

    I think the Contact Management of the Desktop App needs a lot of improvements.
