The amount of characters in the contacts notes field shortened substantially and deleted large portions of client contextual notes history, we really need as many contact notes field characters as possible, how do we enable a higher amount of these simple text notes characters for this critical field? Please let us know.

  5. Please allow the upload of CSV template to go through even with duplicate contacts, and then simply show error notification after the upload to automatically delete the duplicates instead of rejecting during upload.

  7. When creating a custom role there are some options that are greyed out and are assigned to ALL roles.

    It is necessary to be able to EDIT all categories to create a perfect ROLE.

    For example, I want to create a role with NO access to company's contacts, today that is not possible since that option is greyed out.

    PLEASE, allow SUPER ADMIN to edit all categories and choose what to display to users and what not.

    Should be as simple as enabling the option to edit all categories.

Client is asking for more data in the contact details to able to search when using the global search or when using the search field in the contacts.Currently you can only use first name, last name and phone number to look for a contact – either it be personal or corporate contact.Add new fields for a contact as per the next slide and make these fields searchable in the search engine.I have suggested notes, Skills and Location as additional fields.Alternatively it would be sufficient to have the possibility to include custom field which can be used alread today as above…

  11. i would like to drag and drop a contacts database from excel into RingCentral. People in inspections, sales, or purchasing as well as other areas where they make numerous contacts would benefit from being able to import contacts in bulk.

  12. It would be a very welcome feature add to have contacts sync with desktop handsets. Currently, when people call, I only see the phone number on the handset display. I have to run a search in my outlook contacts to see if the caller is known.My only options to solve this are to periodically export my entire contact list to a csv, then do a batch upload to my device (a Yealink T46S). Contacts should sync through the ringcentral app. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard. Can you make this happen?

  13. It is not possible to access Outlook contacts, or have the app access the contacts directly from our Exchange server. Neither can I click Call on the contact in Outlook, as the RingCentral app doesn't connect to Microsoft Telephony Services. A phone app without the ability to dial contacts is not very useful.

  14. Uploading corporate contacts to the deskphone would be very beneficial, manually adding the corporate contacts from the phone is a very time consuming process. Even if we would be able to download the contact list and then upload them to the phone via a USB port would faster.

  17. Currently, when receiving calls on a RingCentral number, the caller's name (if available) is displayed but not automatically saved to the user's contact list. This requires manual input and can be time-consuming, especially for frequent callers.

    Customization: Allow users to control whether the caller ID name is automatically saved to the Personal contact list or a specific custom contact list.
    Duplicate Prevention: Implement measures to prevent duplicate entries in the contact list if the caller ID name already exists.
    Privacy Settings: Provide users with the option to opt-out of this feature if they prefer to manually manage their contact list.
