  1. Callers will be asked for their name when call screening is enabled and the caller is not in the contact list. This feature only works for external calls and not for company contacts. Is there a way to exclude company contacts from being screened?

  2. Customer is requesting for the automatically removal of duplicate contact information on the centralized External Shared Contacts Directory. Since the admin is the only person who can add the contact on the admin portal and every users will gather all of their personal contacts, chances of Duplicate contacts will occur and customer wanted for the feature to automatically detect the duplicate contact and automatically removing those duplicate contact on the centralized External Shared Contacts Directory.

  7. Customer would like to have the option to assign an extension to their existing clients so they can dial the extension number to reach out to their clients instead of dialing the numbers

  8. Currently, when receiving calls on a RingCentral number, the caller's name (if available) is displayed but not automatically saved to the user's contact list. This requires manual input and can be time-consuming, especially for frequent callers.

    Customization: Allow users to control whether the caller ID name is automatically saved to the Personal contact list or a specific custom contact list.
    Duplicate Prevention: Implement measures to prevent duplicate entries in the contact list if the caller ID name already exists.
    Privacy Settings: Provide users with the option to opt-out of this feature if they prefer to manually manage their contact list.

  10. Have Contact Center Routing Number (numbers not assigned to a user, call queue, IVR etc) be seen as Account Contact numbers in the RC App. The only ones that you will see in your Contacts are numbers that are assigned to an extension (user, call queue, IVR etc).

  12. Currently O365 contacts are listed a separate contact inside the RC contacts. any Merged contacts from different sources that have the same contact number get listed multiple times, these duplicate number matches should be removed.
    Left side top from O365 connection, bottom is Teams/RC directory. Right side Blue arrows is primary number, Red arrow legacy dedicated fax.

  16. Being able to see the status of other users would be very beneficial. Even just simple statuses like offline, online, available, away or busy would help enormously. Our old phone system let us see when other users in the system were online, available, in a call already or AFK. This feature is greatly missed by our team, as we will try to transfer calls not knowing if they will be available or not.

  19. Activate a feature that allows the name associated with a saved contact to be visible to the person receiving a transferred call. This feature would display the contact's name to the call recipient when the caller is saved in the customer's contacts and has a name assigned to them.

  20. We have field associates that we want to hide their contact information from MOST associates so we don't include them in the company directory, but associates in our IT department, HR Department, and Executive level managers need to be able to use the directory to reach them and can't because you can't select whose has permissions to see them once they are included in the company directory. So, we don't get full use of RingCentral and have to give out user's cell phone numbers instead, not ideal.
