More detailed log information
It would be very useful to have access to additional log details when troubleshooting problems like faxes failing. Right now the only details are generic entries like Receive Error, Partial Receive and Unknown. I have to open a ticket with RingCentral support to find out the details from the internal logs that only support has access to view.

Universal Contacts
We have some associates who need to get in touch with contractors (for example) who will not be setup in RingCentral but we would like anyone in the company to be able to search for them in the search bar and call them, instead of everyone having to add the person individually to their own contacts to do this. It would also be handy to add universal business contacts for vendors we use.

Links within Team Profile should be clickable, not text
Team profiles might contain nformation and static resources about the team, such as documentation, links to get help, etc. Link in this area are NOT clickable, but they should be. Copy/pasting a link is time consuming.

Add the "section" field for Task sorting in the new ring central app calendar - it is currently only in the classic app
helps with sorting tasks. without it, very difficult to organize tasks

Colors for Favorite Teams
With the classic, we were able to color coordinate our "Favorite Teams". It made it super easy to find things. Now I have to actually read through things. Please bring color dots back. Thanks.

Dialing area code
We have had the Ring Central Phone Service for approximately 8 years. In those 8 years, we have NEVER had to dial our home area code. For example, my office is based in the 916 area code, when dialing a 916 phone number, we just dialed the 7 digit number and it went through. As of today, 5/17/2022, we now have to dial the area code, even when calling a 916 phone number. Why did this all of the sudden happen? How do we get it back to just dialing the 7 digit number when dialing in area code?

Ability to send invites to end users even if their extension is enabled
THIS IS URGENT! It affects RingCentral's long-term ability to sell into larger accounts.In large organizations, the person that negotiates the deal isn't the person that sets up users, and that person isn't the person that assembles, distributes and tests desk phones, and that person isn't the end-user.In order for the person distributing phones to be able to test outgoing calls, the extension must be enabled by adding a password and PIN. Transferred calls ring back to original person if the person the call was transferred to can't/doesn't answer
We have users that may be away from their desk or unable to answer a call that is transferred to them. Rather than having the call go to VM we would like it to go back to the person who transferred the call so they can then ask the caller if they would like to talk to someone else or if they would like voicemail. Then they can be transferred to another user that can help them or they can be transferred directly to the persons voicemail.

Desktop APP Personal Contacts: Sub-Folders
We have users that have asked about the ability to create Sub-Folders under Personal Contacts within the Desktop APP. We are an insurance company and they believe that this ability would help to distinguish between what type of contact everyone is. Ex: a folder for hospitals, a folder for Doctors, etc.

Option to separate SMS on main and direct number
I. have a main office number and a secondary number. I'd like to use the secondary number to communicate with my staff and would like to know if there's a good way to separate those texts received to the main number from the ones received to the secondary number in the app

Allow code wrapper without closing tag
In Classic RC, you could use [code] and everything after it would be monospaced. In New RC, it only works when you have the closing [/code] tag. This would be fine, except that for orgs where users are split between Classic and New users, the former don't put the closing tag on because it looks fine to them.Also, it's more convenient for users to forgo the closing tag; let us keep doing that, please.

Shortcut key to dial highlighted number on Windows
Other softphone apps allow me to set a shortcut key to dial the highlighted number in Windows. So, anywhere in any app, if I highlight a phone number, I can hit a key and dial it in the RC app.

Allow Queue Manager to make member "Unavailable" or "Available"
Sometimes members of a call queue will forget to "toggle" the "Accept queue calls" button to OFF when logging out. At this point they still look "Available" to the queue. It would be nice as a manager to be able to mark that member as "Unavailable" so that they are unavailable for the queue.

Allow call queue extensions to sign in to app
Having the ability to sign in to the app as a call queue extension would be beneficial to those of us that have a call queue assigned as the Operator Extension and receive text messages to that call queue extension. In our case, we have all text messages sent to our main number directed to a call queue that alerts our help desk to the message. Presence Indicator Dot Should Show Inactive ONLY after 15 min on the Mobile App just like the Desktop App
Many employees in the modern workforce are traveling or moving around working on their Mobile but STILL want their team to know they are ONLINE / Available to be reached.
