Shared SMS were multiple users can receive and send SMS on specific number
Allow text messages sent to the same company number that the call queue is answering to be answered by any user in that call queue. Allow them to send messages from the company number and have a unified spot so that multiple users can respond. As our CSRs go off and on shift they should be able to pick up a text thread with a customer.

We would like to be able to text from our main number otherwise it is difficult to monitors text messages when they are going back to individual users. Clients call the direct number back versus calling the main number which shortcuts the workflow.

This is an important part of communicating with our clients and is critical to keeping communication via the main line and not veering off to different phone numbers which may at some point in the future be disconnected or changed. This also allows us to work with our clients as a team and reduce frustrations on their part responding to multiple different people, repeating what they have already said.

This is an important feature for us. Prior to porting our number to Ringcentral our last provider allowed us to choose which phone number we texted from, either our own or the company main line. We can call from the main line on RC but cannot text/receive texts. Rather, they are now going to a single inbox and we are forced to address them via email. Beetexting appears cost prohibitive for a basic feature.

I feel that it is important for our patients to send and receive texts and calls from the main number. It creates confusion when you received from several random numbers.

VERY IMPORTANT! Also, when we change the user assigned as the Operator, it breaks text threads, and the users are not able to see previous texts from whenever they were not assigned as Operator, which is very inconvenient.

In my office, we have one main phone number that is published and patients recognize. However, through Ring Central, each team member has a different (private) number. We are used to having everyone receive and being able to send text messages from the main office number. It would become very confusing for patients to receive text messages from several different numbers (the individual lines) rather than the main number that they recognize. However, it appears at this time, only one extension can receive and send text messages using the main phone number. I would like for my entire staff to have this capability. (This is what we are used to with our previous SMS provider).
