  2. We have different phone groups. When the phone rings and one member of the group picks up the phone, the other members of the group receive missed call notifications. They should not receive the notification unless all members do not pick up the phone. When a user's phone rings, their mobile or PC app also rings. If they pick up the phone on their desk phone, then the app on their mobile phone or PC shows a missed call.   4. RC should allow for assigning multiple lines to one phone. If there is one assistant, and they are working for multiple people, the assistant should be able to tell what calls were missed by what person. This is currently not possible. This feature would lead to a great improvement in business environments where the secretary needs to monitor multiple lines. Currently we can only forward lines from the bosses to the secretary, but this doesn't solve the issue. Neither does the Presence feature.

  7. Please work on adding an option in the portal's Greeting / hold music section for an option to record or TTS a message that plays as an "interruption" or break when callers are on HOLD - with a time selection of interrupt every 20, 30 , 60 sec / 2 minutes or 5.

I suggest that you enable call logs to be retrieved indefinitely into the past as I believe many users are like us - businesses who don't usually need to retrieve call logs except under unusual circumstances (like in our case, an IRS audit!).I need our call logs for January - December 2020 in order to respond to an IRS audit.   9. It would be nice if RingCentral were able to change the sign in page when forcing SSO: Either:

    A: Force/Change the Single Sign In button to only appear
    B: Change the Sign In page to only show Email Address as an option, since Phone Number will no longer work.Current setup is deceptive to End Users, since the sign in page shows you can use either your phone number or email address, when the phone number option no longer works. With the current setup, this results in possible calls to the helpdesk when users think they can still use their phone…

  12. I would love to see a search bar for texts so I can search for the last time I texted someone. I do a lot of group texts, so I cannot just pull up the individual contact to see the history. I would love to be able to search for all the group texts including a specific individual.

  14. We are an organization that still has a live answer receptionist and actually use the desk phones to do everything. Our executive staff have administrative assistant's that answer their calls when they do not. Our 10 year old Shoretel System allowed us to assign a ring delay on the button on the administrative assistant's ShoreTel desk phone. So it would ring Mr. X's desk phone 3 times then for 3 additional rings it rang both Mr. X's desk phone and the button the monitored extension button the the assistant's desk phone at the same time for the next 3 rings.…

  15. When I park a call after about 5 minutes it calls me back, then if I don't answer within perhaps 15 seconds it drops the call. This is both too fast for it to ring me back from a parked call in my opinion, and very bad for it to drop the call. As an example, I just lost a call to a vendor's tech support because the customer didn't let me off the phone quick enough when the parked call rang back so now I have to wait in the vendor's phone queue again to get them back.   18. It would be nice to have a button to send a message to a number that leaves a voicemail, unless it's a landline. Then instead of having to copy and paste the number, go to the text portal, start a new conversion, and paste the number, it's one button that lets you initiate a text thread with that number.

  19. In the tasks area of calendar creation there needs to have a customizeable time frame menu item. For instance, there is the ability to create a weekly repeat item, but if an item is bi-weekly or bi-monthly, there is no ability to address those types of repeat items. Also, if something needed to have a task scheduled for every other day instead of every day, other software allows every (2) days or however long the period between tasks, but RingCentral does not. Can this be changed to be further customizeable by the user?
