  1. Please add the Conversation Stream feature from the "classic" ring central app into the new ring central app so that all of your team and direct messages are sorted in 1 list (instead of being separated into a list of direct messages and a list of teams)

For RingCentral Office accounts with HIPAA enabled, the voicemail notifications that come through email contain caller ID name and the phone number.For additional security and privacy, there should be an option to strip the caller ID information and/or the caller's number from the email notification for voicemails.This control should be managed by the admin and be applied either account-wide or at the user level.

  4. For example, if I'm in a meeting, I would still like to be notified of an incoming call, I just don't want to hear the audio ring. Some people if they're in a meeting or another call want to automatically send the call to voicemail. Having customization options like these helps users manage their workflow the way they want. This is especially helpful for users like managers who are in a lot of meetings and get a lot of calls. Ideally these settings would be either in the RC app or in the online account.

  5. Please start supporting the latest version firmware for the Cisco 8861 phones. Besides improving call quality with headsets, and features, it corrects many security vulnerabilities. The only officially version that RC supports (11.1) is riddled with security vulnerabilities. Cisco recommends to upgrade to 11.3.x to mitigate these security risks. Also, Version 11.1 cannot be managed by modern browsers any longer, now that it is approximately 4 years old.

  6. There is no easy way to get a voicemail to a coworker without downloading and sending. Because our email is cloud based we have no access to audio from our email.

  7. Customers receive email notifications from RingCentral requesting that Users change their Passwords, PINs and Security Questions. Unfortunately, there is not currently a method where Super Admins (or similar) can force these Password, PIN and Security Question "resets" upon their Users.

  8. The request is to allow a department fax inbox within RingEX Application. Currently, users can see their own fax inbox, but it would be helpful to also have access to faxes that arrive to shared fax accounts within the RingEX Application. This would eliminate the need to use email to deliver the fax to multiple users, which could pose a security problem for PII. It would keep the document protected within the application and make it easily accessible for multiple users.

  9. We have new Yealink T57W Prime Business Phoneand we cannot make them display that there are new messages waiting. Ideally I would like to have displayed how many new messages are left in the voicemail and how many messages have been checked/heard. Can anyone suggest a solution?

At the moment its not possible to see all the queues that a user is a member of, the work around is to go to the call queues page, expand all the users members list and do a page search for the users name. The problem is you have to click the arrow next to each group one at a time to expand the user list.

  13. RC Classic gave you the option to listen to an audio file right from RC. With the new update we are having to download the file before listening. With our company using audio files a lot this is making it more time consuming for us to have to download the file first.

  16. Currently only users and park locations are allowed as allowable extensions on the side car of the phones and line keys. It would be great to allow queue extensions as well.

  17. Once you add a contact, you need to click fax on the sidebar to be able to generate a new fax. There should be a + on the sidebar to be able to fax from any of the sidebar options

  18. This functionality is missing from the full RC App that the RC Phone for Desktop App has. It is vital for those who work in the Remote Desktop environment to easily access these functions. Currently, the notification does not allow interaction and we are required to minimize the RD to get to the app and answer the call.

  19. Add the ability to download ALL extension types in a single download file. This is useful to understand ALL of the assigned extensions and their purpose. Being that we are an Enterprise account, we use ranges of extensions for different purposes and it is difficult to see what ranges are being used outside of the normal user extensions.
