Further develop the RC Workspace to be as good as RC phone space.
We use many platforms/apps for many different functions. These platforms have changed throughout the years but there will always be a need for the following. Communications platform, Tasks and project platform, Client database... among others. If Ring Central could further develop their Workspace area it would allow us to consolidate two or three platforms into RC. SPECIFICS ::From an outsider perspective it feels that "Tasks" were an after thought to the system... which is completely understandable. Forward main number calls to an external number from a desk phone and app on demand
We have smaller office and when everyone leaves for lunch, we would like to forward the main number to a calling service we pay for. Presently, we can do this by dialing #72 and then the number and when we get back, we dial #73 to unforward them. This option is not available at RingCentral. We are using Polycom phones, and someone suggested an on demand forward button, presently I'm asking for such a button to be created for us. But, it would be nice to be able to do it with a keycode and that way other physical phones…

Notification via call to an external number for new voice mails
Use case: Patients leave voice mail to the extension of the doctor on call. Doctor may or may not be running RC app on the phone. Need a way to notify the doctor, by calling the doctor at the mobile number and at least announce there is a new voice mail.

Allow for custom Caller ID rules to be imported via csv or CRM Integration (example Salesforce).
This would allow admins to quickly build out sets custom numbers to route calls more quickly than the one-by-one manual entry.

Current Status under Username
Status dots next to the Users names are too small and Users that are color blind are having a hard time, is there a way to make Users status appear under their name. See attachment. Thanks

The availability of Voicemail to Text Option even if HIPAA is activated on the account. This would really help us a lot. It would benefit us not having to listen to every voicemail message we receive if it is being transcribed to us.

Make Status Visible in the Dialer and Contacts Lists
The status feature (Available, On a Call, In a Meeting, DND, etc.) is a great feature but currently only shows in the messaging section and when you open a contacts profile in the RingCentral desktop app.This makes it essentially useless for us as our main use of the RingCentral app is for making/receiving voice calls.I am requesting that the status be made visible in the following locations in the RingCentral app:Main searchBrowsing contacts list (without opening profile)Searching contacts in DialerSearching contacts when transferring or conferencing a callMost importantly, we need to be able to see this status when transferring calls…

Call Forwarding Rules Based on RingCentral Contact Category
It would be really great to have a custom forwarding rule based on RingCentral Contacts that have a specific tag or category. This would make the routing of calls directly to the appropriate extension much faster and easier.

GIFs in text message
GIFs tend to be a major form of communication these days. GIFs are possible in team messaging, but not in SMS texting as far as i can see.

Missed call in Super Admin Ext 301
we have an IVR which feeds off to a user (Dial-By Ext Ext. 406) this user is set NOT to ring and has a long custom voicemail asking clients to use DTMF tones to locate an advisor or return to the main menu.it appears a lot of the missed calls which I am not part of any group to received incoming calls.

Improved Bluetooth headset compatibility
Presently very limited Bluetooth headset compatibility. Some people can't use just any headset because of environmental conditions, comfort, etc. I've never come across another app that was so limited in headset use.

Prevent/Disable second call going through to extension
We would like the ability to disable a second call going through to an extension if they are already on a call.Users find it frustrating having a second line ringing while they are already on the phone to a client.If we could prevent the transferred call even going to the extension it would prevent this

Play announcement "press 1" on call Queue
we have backup number who can answer phone calls if all members are busy in the queue, and that backup number uses the platform where call stays on hold and no ability to press 1, it connect directly without pressing 1. its problem at this moment. Please add option never play announcement on call queue.

Sort SMS/text messages into folders
We send so many texts a day and it would be super helpful to be able to categorize them in folders. For example, a marketing folder, a working on folder, waiting for information folder....etc. Instead of having to wade through hundreds of texts to find the right one.

Assign a ringtone to a number or group
Would like to have the ability to assign a unique ringtone to a specific ring group or to a specific inbound number. This will allow the user the ability to identify calls just buy the ringtone. Call Queue X has a unique ringtone assigned to it. For example, Call Queue X is a hotline and calls to this call group it would ring different than other calls. Create a way for us to call pts back directly from email instead of having to go back and forth between missed call log and ring app.
please allow access to dial the number directly from the missed call email. It is not efficient the way it is currently set up. You have to write down all the missed call numbers, and then go back to Ring app dial pad to call each one.
