  1. The MS Teams Embedded App and its associated "Ghost App" are very useful. However, enhancing it even further by extending the new "Deskphone Pairing" feature into the Ghost App can extend the usefulness even further when it comes to MS Teams integrations.

Hi RC Devs.Hope this is the right place to post this.In currently aware of that the new RingCentral App Presence is different from the Phone App Presecen on the API site, and since Phone is in progress of sun set (got info from your one of your devs) we need to move on to support your new App, including the white labeled solutions. Unfortunately we rely on Presence Events, and currently the Unified Presence is only available as a GET using the API.     Updated: RingCentral for Clio is live! Visit https://www.clio.com/app-directory/ringcentral-for-clio/ for the extension. Please note, there is a preliminary issue where the extension doesn't match phone numbers with contacts due to a phone number format issue. The extension only recognizes contact phone numbers with international standard format-- +(country code)XXXXXXXXXX versus (XXX)XXX-XXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX, etc. Our developers are working with Clio for a resolution. Hello, our development team is working on a unified CRM extension and is asking for additional and specific use case scenarios. When trying to perform deep dive analyses on agent efficiency and effectiveness some of the most granular and thus most useful data can be queried from the Agent State History reporting API (https://developer.niceincontact.com/API/ReportingAPI#/Reporting/getAgentStateHistory). This data represents every second of an agent’s time. For states in which an agent is active on a call, it would be very helpful if the state history records cross referenced the Call ID. This would enable the analyst to develop an understanding of an issue from both the customer’s and the agent’s perspectives.

Automatically select the country code corresponding to Customer’s country code for agents that make outbound calls to multiple regions to confirm the local country code is used or next available options based on predefined rules. Eg. If the agent is dialing to a customer in Germany then the appropriate country code (+49) should automatically be selected and reflect as in the agents caller ID.

  9. We would like to have the capability of choosing the set-up best for our company needs. At this moment, the only option we have for If caller enters no action after the prompt played 3 times is predefined by RC system. I would like to have the capability to select how many announcement to have before it chooses the next behavior.

  12. Currently, when a recording is archived to a 3rd party, they are organized by folders. Using folders to navigate to recordings is fine, but as the number and volume of recordings grow, being able to search for them can become a massive challenge.
    By populating recordings that are archived with metadata using APIs (there are metadata APIs available for Box, Dropbox and GDrive), it will make searching for recordings by date, time, type, caller, handler, etc. far less painful.
    Consider use cases for legal holds, employee sat situations, HR claims.

  13. The request is for an app that can be deployed via the Microsoft Teams app gallery to add RingCentral controls to the side of the Teams client.
    This app should do the following:
    - Allow for SSO-Stay logged in-Give controls such as: Accept all calls -
    Deny all calls - Do not accept queue calls
    - Remote member management features like logging out of specific queues (this is available in native teams call routing functionality)
    - Be available on mobile
    These functions are not available in the Service Web page for an end user and popping out to the mobile…

  14. In the Cloud PBX for Teams portal, the new Sync Module only works for a single PBX customer meaning that a customer that has offices internationally cannot use it. This could prove to be an issue for Enterprise customers, who may feel that the current integration causes too much manual work.

  15. Some customers use Teams as their primary collaboration and calling application, with 1,000's of users using MS Teams. Adding MSI support for the new RingCentral Embedded Dialer Plug-In for MS Teams would be a way to be able to strategically deploy it.

Purolator wants to arm their drivers with Zebra devices with the RC App. they need the calls to go over the cellular data network and use the carrier minutes ONLY when cell data is not available. The plan they have with their current provider offers unlimited data but carrier calls are very expensive and is only to be used when absolutely necessary.

For security reasons, the customer SFIL MUST disable file sharing in Glip to avoid propagation of viruses.When disabling file sharing in Glip Admin, users can still exchange Code Snippet.Customer demonstrated that they were able to share EICAR virus using this feature.They consider this as a security threat and want to disable that capability of sharing code snippet when file sharing is disabled.

  18. ...tensions. Currently Admins can only archive call recordings for all their extensions on their SFTP server while SMS, Fax and Voice messages needs to be done per extension and the customer would like to have this ability as well as an Admin.

  19. ...ven if the customer doesn't connect to an extension?. Apparently the system will only send an email notification once the call is missed from an actual extension, but we want the system to be able to send email notification when missed from the IVR itself. Alot of our customers don't have the patience so they hang up immediately without connecting to an extension. We want to be able to get these missed call notification sent to the email so we can call them back. Thanks
