TCR Application requirements update for outgoing SMS (Non-Marketing Businesses)
Update the TCR application for existing RingCentral customers (or all) to enable opt out of marketing (consenting to not selling to customers for each number on account) if we don't directly engage customers (e.g. deliver technology support services). This is common and usual practice for U.S. federal subcontractors whom provide support services and knowledge capital services to the larger established defense companies (e.g. Prime Contractors are required to have a website to win any government contracts, but not subcontractors pending nature of work). WM needs the ability to text to a Ring Group
Currently: Call queues can receive SMS messages. You can assign a SMS recipient to the call queue. But it can only be one user on the system. User can then send or receive to any number assigned to that call queue but this is not what WM is looking for.2 votes -
Option to delete messages or multiple messages
It would be beneficial to introduce a feature allowing users to delete multiple messages or entire chats simultaneously, rather than deleting them individually. This would save time, especially for users who need to clean up or manage their chat history more efficiently.

Bunching Archived Texts & Better Formatting
Currently the SMS archiving is mediocre at best. It archives into a selected provider like Google Drive & each text is saved individually in a notepad (unless using a 3rd party integrated archiving solution). In the financial services industry this completely misses the point of archiving. SEC/FINRA standards require an archiving solution that is not editable. It would be really nice to have it saved even as a PDF with clear meta data saved (time stamp, numbers texting, etc.). Block Internal Numbers from Sending SMS to Specific External Numbers
I would like to manually add specific external numbers to the opt-out list in the admin portal to prevent internal users from sending SMS messages to those numbers.

SMS notification sent by RingCentral should be coming from the same number
When RingCentral sends notifications via SMS, the messages come from different phone numbers each time. This needs to be fixed so that they all come from the same phone number every time.

Create schedule to allow for text notifications on weekends but not cals

When sending a "New Text" have it open the text message history after entering the phone number
When you send a new text you now have to type the message before you can see the history of texts with that phone number. Please CHANGE IT BACK to the way it was! When you enter a phone number have it open the text message history and then write the text message.
