  1. It would be nice to be able to program a desk phones softkey features on an individual and group level. Or the ability to access a provisioning server to setup the configurations.

  2. Requesting to add 'Assign To' to the menu option in the Number Inventory. Currently the only option listed is Delete, with this, we can delete multiple numbers at once; however, we cannot assign multiple numbers at once. This would be beneficial for managing numbers that have been moved back to the inventory after a user is disabled or deleted.

  3. Currently extensions are required to take voicemails & faxes as all or none. Our customer would like to have the option to take no voicemails, but still receive faxes.Is it possible to enable faxing only and no voicemail? Rather than disabling the mailbox entirely?

Currently, when going into adjust voicemail greetings within the RingCentral Desktop or Web app, the user is given the option to "Record" only with seemingly no option to upload a pre-recorded file etc like they do within Service Web. Clicking on "Record" however does then pop-up a new window where you can record and upload, but is currently very confusing for users from a UI perspective and could be labelled clearer, i.e. "Record/Upload" or "Edit Voicemail Greeting".

Client is asking for more data in the contact details to able to search when using the global search or when using the search field in the contacts.Currently you can only use first name, last name and phone number to look for a contact – either it be personal or corporate contact.Add new fields for a contact as per the next slide and make these fields searchable in the search engine.I have suggested notes, Skills and Location as additional fields.Alternatively it would be sufficient to have the possibility to include custom field which can be used alread today as above…

  6. The service.ringcentral.com / Admin Portal timeout value is very low, causing frustration for users having to sign back into the website 10-20 times per day. It would be helpful if the timeout value could be customized by the customer directly, especially if we could control it by role, site, or even at the user level.

  7. Currently its about a long 10 second pause after entering the name prior to hearing anything. It would be nice if the prompt said we could press a key to finalize the submission or shorten up the timer.

  8. For a test purpose I also created a new Billing Role template with only Billing invoices & inventory permissions, but I found that the device ordering is reflected automatically. I tried disabling different tabs but still device ordering was showing in my test account. Appreciate your response on this.Pls find the attached snapshot FYR of my test account with the new Billing role template.

  9. We are sending texts to our clients all the time. To personalize this, we sometimes like to instead send them a little video in which we thank them in person, introduce the company, etc etc, different themes in different videos. With just 1.5 MB limit per video in SMS, this is impossible. It would be an absolute awesome addition to our client approach and make us stand out to competition as well.

  11. Im a small business owner and looking to have one central location or hub that is shared between multiple users (extensions). For example: Phone calls, SMS, Voicemail, and missed calls can be viewed and responded by all users under one umbrella. Currently and specifically SMS & Voicemails go to one specific extension (say extension 101, but ex 102 should also have access to those SMS and Voicemails) and only that extension has access to it, which clogs the system of communication. ALL extensions should have the ability to hear voicemails and respond to SMS in the central location or hub.…

  13. Since Ring Central is for calls both incoming and outgoing it would be nice to be able to add contacts that the company uses such as vendors you work with, site contacts, etc.. Currently you can only add "Personal Contacts" which only the user can reference. Essentially a rolodex of contacts the company uses.

A lot of tickets are generated to IT when RC announce an update with a pop-up window because the X to close is transparent and people just don’t see it.However, the pop-up prevents them from using the app.Please make the 'X' more visible so that the window can be easily closed to allow access to the app.

  15. It would be best if we have the option to change audio fle from mp3 to wav file or vice vers. There are some devices that does not support mp3 or wav.

  16. It would be helpful to copy the phone number directly from the call list.Currently, the only way to copy the number of a caller is to click on that call, open the call details, and copy from there, which takes extra clicks.

  17. people that are hard of hearing need closed captions for phone calls too; not just video meetings. This feature should be accessible in the Phone App and for voice mail; it should provide a text version of the voice mail.

  18. Users should be able to search Area code from the "My caller ID" section. User has to scroll through a number of area codes, it would be a lot easier if users can search area codes and a list of numbers attached to the area code is displayed.
