  1. When transferring calls, Caller ID information is only passed on blind transfers. It would be helpful if the caller ID information was passed to the new recipient regardless of transfer type.

    Hello everyone, this has been implemented in 22.3.1. This version of the app was rolled out to all accounts over 8/25-8/31. No additional action is required to initiate the feature on the app, please confirm you are on at least 22.3.1. This feature allows for caller ID to transfer in these scenarios. Warm/Consultative Transfer: - Incoming call from PSTN/RC # to RingCentral and transferred to RC number Blind Transfer: - Incoming call from PSTN/RC # to RingCentral and transferred to RC number - Incoming call from PSTN/RC # to RingCentral and transferred to RC voicemail The feature requires the following endpoints to work successfully. This applies to both the user invoking the transfer as well as the user who is the destination of the transfer.Desk phones: Any Poly, Avaya or Unify models. RingCentral App: Version 21.4.30 or laterRingCentral Mobile App: Version 22.1.10 or laterRingCentral Phone App: Version 22.2 or later…
  2. The app has Headset support for Jabra and Plantronics Hub. Please extend this support to Logitech, so we can take advantage of the call control buttons on those devices too.

  4. The ability to show originating Caller ID not just internally but also to external numbers.

    Behavior: Caller dials the main number, user gets the call from a desk phone (Yealink), user transfers to an external number via Blind Transfer.

  5. We need to work on getting the Poly Roves certified for a variety of customer opportunities. Retail, Healthcare, Warehouse and Manufacturing. They have line Presence button, are ruggedized, and more configurable

  6. Prior to an account migration desk phones (such as Polycom VVX311, VVX411, VVX601) would only show the users name on the first 2 presence lines. Now, if no presence entries have already been manually added by the user, every line shows the users name.This is apparantly from the receiving account being on a newer version (v22) than the originating account (v21). This should be changed back to the user only showing on the first two lines.

  7. Hi we have Mitel 6940 phones at our offices, running on the RingCentral platform. The Mitel 6940 phones seemingly have the capability to transfer calls directly to voicemail via a "VM" softkey that appears when transferring calls (see YouTube video: https://youtu.be/Dfccs5AnSNY). However, it does not show up for us. After discussing with our RingCentral representative, it seems that this feature is not enabled for these phones on the RingCentral platform. Would be great to have this feature available as it's heavily used in our environment.

  8. We recently migrated to RingCentral and have come to discover that one of the biggest features we use is not available with RingCentral. From our desk phones, we are unable to conference if the two calls we want to conference are both external. It gives a busy signal instantly.To clarify, if we call an external phone number, then try to conference with a second external number, this does not work.   11. This would benefit not only the company but the person administering the phones. On a Cisco phone (88XX) there currently are two address books, a system address book which is not functional and a personal address book which is unique to each phone. In order to have a "company" list, we currently have to utilize the personal address book and manually enter each entry into each phone. If anything changes(additions, changes, deletions), we have to manually change it in each phone. This can be very time-consuming to manage but at present is the only way to get a company directory…

We'd like to have the option to use the desktop app in conjunction with a desk phone like this: When dialing out (from the computer/app): 1) click an extension or click or dial a number.2) your desk phone (e.g. J139) would go "off hook" on speakerphone and the call would be placed. No touches.3) you simply wait for the other person to answer... you never touch your phone.

  15. Ring Central sends updates to my Yealink T57w phone. When the update comes in, it resets the admin password back to default. This is a secuirty issue and I get the red triangle error at top of phone screen until I manully change the password from ADMIN back to my password. It happens every update and is very frustrating. Security is low after an update as password defaults.

  17. Please add the ability for users to see when a phone has been placed on Do Not Disturb. Currently, if a Mitel phone is placed on Do Not Disturb their presence still shows green/available. If a phone is o Do Not Disturb the phone should show a red status to other users. This seems like a simple fix.

  18. Use case is activating or deactivating business hours/after-hours/custom rules using a button on a physical phone. Customer needs to route calls at a touch of a button to be able to provide better customer service to live patrons. This WILL be required for most Mitel customers that we want to move to RC.

  19. As per Yealink engineer, softkey layout of the phone is the special design of RingCentral, which cannot not be changed. There were customer prefers to have option to customize it themselves.
