  1. We have set up a shared line in our account with the goal of enabling call queue members to answer shared line calls when they are placed on hold. After speaking with technical support, we were informed that the shared line does not function in this manner. We would like to request a new feature where we can set a shared line phone as a member of the call queue, allowing calls to be easily answered from the shared line to the call queue.

  3. When a customer schedules a RingCentral meeting, the "Allow to start and stop recording" option under Advanced Settings is missing. We were informed that this feature is not intended for general customers and is currently limited to internal staff and technical partners.

    We kindly request that this feature be made available to all RingCentral customers in a future release.

Wanting to correct internal fax to email notifications to mirror same patterns of actually displaying/sending the attachments and cover letters of a fax the same as the external traffic displays and receives the data. Currently internal communication only notifies staff to check portal for the fax data over sending the data directly via an outlook email.

  5. We would like to customize our prompt for failed outbound calls. For example, when we dial a phone number and accidentally pressed a single digit we will get the message "sorry, but your call cannot be completed", we want this to be configurable.

  6. Currently, when both sender and recipient use toll-free numbers, faxes are routed through a generic path since toll-free numbers lack fixed geographic endpoints. This routing is less reliable and often results in failures. We request an improvement in how TFN to TFN fax traffic is handled, with more robust routing, better support for explicitly setting the “sent from” toll-free fax number, and clearer error feedback when failures occur.

  11. When a recipient opts out (e.g., texts “STOP”) on one number in a TCR campaign, RingCentral should automatically block messages to that recipient from all numbers in the campaign.

    Why it matters

    Recipients expect “STOP” to mean no more texts, regardless of which number the campaign uses.

    Avoids compliance risk and potential carrier issues.

    Saves customers from building custom suppression logic outside RingCentral.

  14. I have a suggestion for improving the text messaging feature. Could you please consider adding a setting that would automatically include the "Add opt-out" message in every text?

    Currently, we have to manually click a box each time to include it, and an automatic setting would streamline the process significantly.

  17. We have a lot of Yealink W70B basestations deployed in our business. After 6-8 weeks of uptime, they need to be rebooted because of issues like one-way audio or poor voice quality.

    The W70Bs don't have a scheduled reboot option so my understanding is the only other option is RingCentral needs to enable a feature to command the basestations to reboot via SIP.

  18. I would like to suggest to have the option for our customer to opt out from being recorded even though automatic call recording is turned on. It would be nice if our callers has that option if they don't want the calls to be recorded.
