After speaking to a Contact Center Engineer, it is my understanding that you are able to log into RingCentral.com using ANY phone number assigned to Auto-Receptionist and a valid extension.Please limit either the ability to log into RingCentral.com to ONLY the main company number and a user's assigned number/numbers OR (preferably) create a feature where admins can set which phone numbers are allowed for logging into RingCentral.com

  5. We have just discovered the RingCentral add-on for Chrome and see that weare able to call and text directly through there. We are wondering ifmessaging functionality (like the existing messaging platform through theRingCentral app) will be added in the future - we would love to be able totrim down the number of apps we use. Please let me know if there is a planto implement this.

  6. We are needing to have an area on the App for members to review a VM and then assign it to a specific member. a simple drop down of members in that que is all that would be needed. This is so a specific member can cull through VM's to see which need to be assigned to specific members for reaching back out to customers. i have attached a example from our last provider. we also attached the RC app to show where it would be best for this info to be located.

  7. We have in person staff meetings roughly every 2 weeks. I have entered these staff meeting into my Google calendar. I would love to be able to make it so whenever I am in these staff meetings, all messages and calls would be forwarded to my adminstative assistant's extension. Is this possible?

  8. The customer wants the callers to enter direct extension numbers even if the IVR Menu is set up. Wants to set up a greeting for the callers to hear that they can enter the extension number or additional key press options.

Currently the phone HUD can be popped out to a separate window, but with all of the recent updates to the phone features of the ring app, it would be nice to have the phone section open separately from the messages section. Currently, when attempting to launch two (or more) instances of the Ring Central desktop app, nothing happens.

I would love to have a setting to be able to shut myself off from receiving incoming calls but not fully "do not disturb" so I can hear when people message me directly or if there is communications in chats. If we have it on DND now people message me and I can't hear anything, but I just want to silence my phone, not everything else on the app. Thanks!

So I have a BUNCH of texts from people who I haven't texted in 6+ months that are clogging up my RC Phone app. It runs so slowly and it's because I have an astronomical amount of text messages from the past in the app. I want to be able to delete any phone numbers/text messages that I haven't messaged or called 6 months ago or beyond.

  19. The video app can clearly make a distinction between background noise and when a person speaks. Moreover, in video communication, the client can have some AI capabilities that can detect using image processing if someone's lips are moving and indicating they are speaking. Also, gesture sensing is possible like raising hands and indicating interest in speaking. With this in mind having a toggle option between manual mute and auto-mute could be a viable feature. This will enable hands-free conversations. If the auto mute is on then the system will keep on listening to sounds but won't transmit into the call.…

  20. Since there was no option to share the recording to external contacts, there should be an option to download the Meeting and Call recordings in the mobile app especially if it's your only available device when you need to send it.
