  1. ...app (Android). So that State is removed completely from user view. Would like this to be programmable to advised user groups, rather than set at account level. Customer is a hotelier and do not want any of their onsite users to "accidentally" place themselves (or shared devices) into DND, as this would prevent incoming calls (business) coming into the location. Even with education system mis-use can still be achieved by the end user

  4. I implemented a system for a customer that would like to be able to hear his phones ring over a CyberData Paging Amplifier and speaker system. Currently, this is not a feature of the RingCentral system.

  5. one of my customers state they used to be able to delete all messages from their inbox when logged in SW. Seems like at some point in the last year, the limit was changed to 50. Need that limit removed. See attached video of issue. you can "restore" more than 50, just when it comes to deletion, it limits it to 50.

  6. AE Commentary: "I wanted to confirm on the anticipated product roadmap to enhance shared lined functionality to support cordless. As mentioned, Lamps Plus is requesting this capability since having cordless phones in their stores is invaluable. They cannot operate using RingGroups with extensions since this prevents them from having a complete call recording when inbound calls are parked temporary and retrieved from any phone.

Their SVP of Operations is going to make a decision whether to continue with RingCentral or not given the constraints of our platform.

"We had discussed adding the feature request to the roadmap for enhancing share…

  9. When I make a task just for myself, but later on I decide that it should be delegated, it's stuck in my own "team". I would like to be able to reassign it to some other team.

  12. It would be really cool to have a sort of asynchronous meeting where we users could respond to each other in a Glip conversation with short video messages. These could be called fragments or the alike.Maybe a little button 'reply with video' that would pop a window to record your message and then you can hit 'done' to review and send or review and re-record or cancel.

  13. When the queue has no active members, it should be skipped, rather than the system polling and confirming that the queue is empty and forcing callers to wait while the system performs that check.

  14. Would like speed dials to be added to the phone to Park a call (P1, P2, P3 and P4). If someone calls in, I would like to press one of the speed dials and put the person on hold and then I can call upstairs or downstairs to the person they want to talk to and tell them that on P1 is so and so for them. They can go to there phone or any phone and press P1 button to talk to them

  15. We have set up currently a call Queue for our Consumer Lines so that we can see in our reporting if a customer presses 1 for website or orders, press 2 for product questions, etc we can see how many customers have issues in these categories and how often. We do not want VM for these call Queue's, we are trying to get our customers to email instead and my recording even states to send email.

  16. Call Queue setting should be done by the user - not by call q - if you have multiple call q this is very time consuming - you should be able to select call q by user.

  17. The old version of RC Desktop/Glip used to show thumbnail gallery view when you viewed files. This make it extremely easy to find what you were looking for. With the latest version, you can only view as a list of filenmaes. Not useful if you're searching for an image.

  19. In the RC App for Mac, the app uses the in-app Audio Sources settings for everything (audio calls, video meetings, etc) except for voicemail playback. Voicemail playback defaults to the Mac system sound output settings and cannot be changed. This design is problematic as it requires the user to either:Set the system sound output to match the Speaker Source setting in the RC App (e.g., a phone headset) so that all audio (RC and system) play through this single output; or Have calls handled via the RC Speaker Source (e.g., a phone headset) and voicemails played back via different source…

  20. It would be great to be able to import a Calendar from an account that isn't Google or Microsoft. Importing an *.ics calendar file would allow us to better utilize the calendar presence feature. Similarly, it would be great to be able to schedule meetings to this calendar as well so that it better integrates with our internal GroupWise environment.
