  1. Call Merge on RC App drops participants of a merged call when the originating user disconnects. Customer would like the merged to call...

    ...to continue and allow the originating user to disconnect. Call Merge from the RC App needs to allow the merged callers to continue the call when originating user disconnects. Currently call abruptly drops when call merge originator disconnects. When the originator uses RC App Mobile, "the caller has disconnected the line" message is heard by the merged participants and call ends. Confirmed this on RC Phone 21.2.0 / RC App 21.2.10.948 Desktop (MacOS) and RC App Mobile 21.1.20.536 (Android).As a staffing company, RHI merges calls allowing introductions of the merged parties and the originating user needs to drop.   2. Automated Text/SMS Response

    It is very surprising this isn't already built in and would be a crucial feature. EX: When out of office, being able to alert any inbound calls/texts that you are out of office and provide any other contact details. Any other Phone SMS app/device has this feature so adding it would be greatly appreciated

  5. Upload custom ringtone

    This would be great if you could implement this, I noticed it is already possible for hold music and greeting. I do not really like any of the default ringtones so it would be excellent if you could make this possible! Thanks!

  6. Ring Central (Classic) red customizable "Busy" Status

    Please consider providing a way to set a red "Busy" Status manually without blocking message sounds the way the "Do Not Disturb" Status does in Ring Central (Classic).

    Preferably a customizable Status where you could put a Red busy color, and then type in the reason for "Busy" (i.e. - Away, Training, etc ...).

  7. Drag and drop teams/people into folders

    Currently, you can only add and move teams in/out of folders using a drop-down menu. I think it would be easier if you could just click, drag, and drop teams (and perhaps people too) into desired folders in the left-pane.

  8. Recording speaker only in RingCentral Video

    With all participants muted except one speaker, we would like to record the 'speaker video/audio only' for the presentation portion of the meeting. In ringcentral meetings, that is accomplished with spotlight video and then record - glip's video meeting doesn't have that option. This is a crucial option for any presentation or speaker led meeting.

  9. Add setting to allow RC desktop app to run in the background at startup

    To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

  10. Create a default group of contacts for all users that admins can manage

    We have Field Reps that our RingCentral users call on a daily basis. I have been asked multiple times if I can create contacts for the field reps and their mobile numbers for all users so everyone did not have to create them. We have more than 50 contacts. This would be a nice feature for only the Admin to delete/edit/manage/add the "global contact".

    I am recruiter and reaching multiple people in a day. If there is a way to make a signature line of who I am and the company I work for already in the text, that save some time for me. Plus, it will look more official like I'm not a scam

  14. Play announcement "press 1" on call Queue

    we have backup number who can answer phone calls if all members are busy in the queue, and that backup number uses the platform where call stays on hold and no ability to press 1, it connect directly without pressing 1. its problem at this moment. Please add option never play announcement on call queue.

  15. Automatic divert to voicemail when already on another call

    The 'Busy' or 'Do not disturb' options only really work when you have a scheduled call. Often, if I receive an unexpected call, I do not use these options. If another call then comes in while I am on the first call, it rings loudly in my ears (I use earbuds through my laptop) and can cause a loss of concentration as I manually divert the second call. Surely RingCentral should be able to determine you are already on a call and divert it to voicemail automatically.

  16. MSI installer with Auto Update

    Please create either a system wide MSI or EXE installer with auto update that can be installed with one user profile on a computer and be available with all other profiles old and new.Right now if we install using the exe installer it will auto update but the next user will need to have RingCentral installed on their profile. Or if we install using the msi installer under an administrator profile other users will also have RC available next time they log in but it doesn't get updates automatically and IT has to either push those updates out or manually…

  19. Forward a voicemail message to another extension from RingCentral App, or by phone

    It would be useful so that you can forward a voicemail message to another user. From the App you would click on the phone icon, all voicemail, click on the three dots, and then there would be a forward option, and you could forward it to another extension.If you were to call in and check your voicemail, you could forward from the IVR and add a message, similar to a supervised call transfer, but this would be a supervised voicemail message transfer.

  20. Template for Intercom and Presence setting

    Whenever there's a new user, the admin will need to configure the intercom and presence one by one. IT will be helpful to just apply a template for it.
