  1. It would be great for RingCentral to filter out background noise. For example, if I'm speaking while in my car via the mobile app or via ring-out to my phone, the other party should not hear the the car engine, honking, door chime, door shut, etc. If I'm walking on a treadmill, they should not hear the treadmill. They shouldn't hear kids in the other room, a dog barking, coughing, keyboard tapping etc. This should work via all channels, i.e., desktop soft phone (Mac), mobile app, ring-out. Thus I would imagine this feature will need to be implemented within your…

  2. requesting to use authenticator apps when logging in to the Ringcentral for the 1st time. Aside from the security code sent via email, it would be easier if we can approve/ confirm the access via an app on mobile or computer.

  3. We use 3-digit office extension numbers. if you pause for a few seconds while direct-dialing another extension the call will time out. I want to be able to adjust the length of time to complete a 3-digit extension dial to 5, 10 and 15 seconds.

  4. It's very disconcerting to hear the caller's number as "X billion, XXX million, XXX thousand, X hundred XX" instead of just reading each individual number like a phone number is traditionally read. "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0"

  5. Allow Blocking to outbound numbers for things like do not call lists. This should be able to be done by role, individual extension, and account-wide.

  6. Be able to leave a pre-recorded voicemail as soon as you hear a "beep" and move on to your next call. In other words, make outbound call and instead of waiting for someone to pick; drop an automated or prerecorded message for the second party to call you back, while you move on to your next dial up call.

  7. Putting someone on hold and playing music is acceptable practice and usually a user will tell the other person on the line that they will be put on hold. A call flip however is primary used by the user to leave the office or return to the office while on the phone. This transition is so fast and smooth that hold music is not needed. It can also cause confusion to others on a call when they hear hold music when not expecting it. I request there be a setting to disable just the call flip hold music and not…

  8. Currently, the options to set the after queue call work time for a specific queue, under "Wait Settings"/"After last call is ended, agent will be available for the next call within" does not include 2 minutes. See attached screenshot. This is to request the addition of the option to select 2 minutes.Thank you

  9. If you would like to use a pre-recorded prompt from your Prompts Library on an extension's greeting, currently you have to download it from the Prompts Library and re-upload it to the extension. There should be an option to use the Prompts Library on an extension's greeting.

  10. One of my clients uses ringcentral. I dread being the first caller to one of their conference calls, because the default hold music is repetitive and (totally my opinion) awful.I may be the only person in the world that doesn't like it, but in the off chance that other people groan and roll their eyes every time it starts playing... I'd love this service so much if there was the option to press a button while holding, and have the music just turn off. "Press 1 to mute the hold music" - This would be AMAZING.You might say "just turn…

  11. The quality of certain faxes rendered in the RC system is suboptimal- in particular, high resolution scanned documents scanned in color, to the extent that portions of inbound faxes of this type have sections of text rendered nearly illegible, illegible, and/or not recognizable by modern OCR systems. It's a functional issue. The backdrop is suboptimal rendering of even native black text files- all text and elements look as though they were rendered on a dot matrix system from the mid 90s.

  12. Currently, the app rings at the same time as the desk phone. You set the desk phone to sequentially ring after the app but not before. I prefer the desk phone to ring first for a couple of rings, then the app on my cell phone would be called.

  13. We would like the ability to disable a second call going through to an extension if they are already on a call.Users find it frustrating having a second line ringing while they are already on the phone to a client. If we could prevent the transferred call even going to the extension it would prevent this

  14. The ability to block annoying calls from companies by name. For instance, a company with phone numbers all over the state or USA that can bypass you blocking their phone number because they have so many locations and/or phone numbers to call from. Yet, because they are a business, the company name shows up on each call despite whatever number they call you from. Instead of trifling with blocking the number, simply block the company name.

  15. The ability to add contacts per phone number within RingCentral. For example, your corporation has subsidiaries that perform separate and distinct functions, and each company has a separate phone number and associated contacts/clients, and all numbers are managed under the one RingCentral account. The ability to add callers to specific phonebooks for specific phone numbers being managed by RingCentral.

  16. Currently, only the Corporate Directory is automatically integrated with the RingCentral account's Company directory. There should also be a way where the Contact Directory can be automatically integrated with the RingCentral account's Company directory as well, rather than having the users manually add in their contacts locally on the device. This would greatly benefit users because it'll save them from having to manually enter in each contact

  17. There should be an ability to have call waiting for queue calls as using an IVR with set queues is the easiest way of having an overall system and using simultaneous rings for the same phone number that's a direct line vs using a queue for the IVR is a laborious set up process and tends to complicate a phone system for businesses and the customers.

Hello all, wanted to share this video with you, to see if it matches your needs! It’s only a minute long, but note that there is no audio. In this video, a call queue member “SZ” receives and answers a call from the Test 1 call queue. After about 10-15 seconds, you’ll see a call pop-up in the Call Queue Pickup section of the HUD. This is a 2nd call that “SZ” then answers from Test 1 call queue, which puts the first call on hold.If this meets your needs, please let us know. We have also included the KB article.https://www.loom.com/share/59599e5b02a14bb6a84fcf02560a2c68 https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Set-up-Call-Queue-Pickup-Group.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_MVP&language=en_US
  18. We need the ability to warm transfer a caller to an external number, brief the 3rd party and then bring the original caller back onto the line with all parties to make an introduction. Right now the only option is to create a conference call on RC Phone (which has a conference greeting).

  19. When block all calls is turned on for an extension currently you are only able to add area codes and DIDs to the whitelist. This becomes an issue when the same CID is used for all devices, as allowing the CID would enable all devices to call the blocked extension. If the ability to whitelist extensions was added this would allow whitelisting of a single device.
