  2. We currently use a bypass rule for when we are closed for a holiday so that we can have a "closed for the holiday" message. In addition to adding the dates/times in the bypass rule for the holiday I also have to go into each queue we have (6 of them) and change the hours to correspond with the bypass rule. If I don't then someone calling in will hear that we are closed but then when selecting from the options menu for a department, it will ring and ring if I don't set the hours of each queue to…

  3. Have had many users ask about this as they often miss opening portion of calls they are monitoring because they try to connect with *80 and are told the call hasnt connected yet. They try again and find out they missed the introductions etc. Was advised by support today that this is not a current feature and to suggest it here.Thank you.

When calling a user from the dialpad of the desktop app, it shows their extension, direct number, and the digital line of the hotdesk phone they last used (even though they are no longer logged in). Can you remove hotdesk lines from showing in the directory. This causes confusion as this is not a number tied to a user.

My understanding of this is that any calendar that is associated with the relevant calendar (in my case, a Google Calendar) would be synced to indicate a 'busy' ('in a meeting') status.There are various use cases of this:When I create a meeting directly on my calendar to 'block off' time to focus on various work projects.   7. When you share screens in a video call, there is only a single pencil feature for making hand drawings on the screen. This is very valuable but I really would like more options (colors, thickness, maybe some basic shapes), and also make it so the drawing you make doesn't automatically fade in ~5 seconds. These would all make visual brainstorming much easier!

  8. We are in a large enterprise where RC Phone licenses are often recycled. While it is true that with due diligence a terminated employee would be removed from their ring groups, this doesn't happen yet as often as it should. So, their license is disabled and deleted into the unassigned extensions bin. Then a new employee in a different state acquires THAT unused license, with a new phone number and new extension. And now one of the phones in office B is ringing when someone calls office A (original ring group). That phone app at office B also rings when…

  9. When voicemails are left on call queue lines, the only way for call queue members to view the message is by being granted manager access on the queues. This would also give them permission to edit members of a call queue. There needs to be a call queue voicemail box where the messages go so that everyone can view them and hear them, but that does not require any kind of special admin or manager setting for the call queue members.

  10. When using the Mobile app and on a call.. A new CELLULAR call comes in on same device, during the call using the app, the call is interrupted by ringing from the cell call. Would be a benifit to Mute the new Cellular call or limit its number of rings (akin to call waiting)

  13. It would be very useful to have access to additional log details when troubleshooting problems like faxes failing. Right now the only details are generic entries like Receive Error, Partial Receive and Unknown. I have to open a ticket with RingCentral support to find out the details from the internal logs that only support has access to view.

  17. Right now it's hard to scroll through conversations with the mouse or laptop mouse pad. Normally this is something in other apps that you can use the down button, but for this it does not work.

  18. Teams, Voice, Phone, and all of my other audio apps can interface with my car's built-in UConnect audio system, but not RingCentral.It would be really neat if RingCentral added this support so I don't have to take RingCentral calls on speaker.

  20. When a number is reaching an IVR that does not have a prompt defined, the caller will hear a "technical issue" message. This can cause panic as the customer/caller does not know what the issue is. It would be more useful for the caller to hear something like "you've reached an IVR that has not been configured".
