  2. When having the main line forward to a group that rings out to certain users it should be able to also display the caller ID. It is extremely disappointing that this doesn't already exist as the phone number ID is displayed in the same situation making it difficult to understand why the caller ID name would not be displayed. In fact the inflexibility of programing groups is extremely frustrating. This shouldnt have to be developed, this should already by a feature.

  3. Admin portal - request for administrators to be able to restrict the choice of Caller IDs (CLIs) in user extensions

    Scenario:
    If a user is permitted to select their own CLis (outbound caller ID setting enabled in their role), they can chose from a list of number in their App when they make outbound calls. This list consists of
    -their user DL number
    -their site number (if any)
    - the direct number of any call queues they are a member of
    - the main company number
    -any unassigned company number in the system

We want to have an option in the performance report to permanently remove a deleted user/group extension from the list, currently there is no option to do it and it's a bit annoying to do an extra step just to exclude this deleted user/group from the report, or once the user/group extension is deleted the performance report will sync the changes automatically.

  6. Tasks are a great tool for organization and communication within the unified RingCentral App. The RingCentral Classic app has the ability to add a subject line to new tasks while the new RingCentral App does not have this ability.

  7. We would like to know on average how many rings it takes our support department to answer the phone. This is crucial to verify that our staff answers the phone within a certain amount of time.

  8. Zoom added their Universal Binary which supports their M1 chips without going through their Rosetta 2 emulation. I believe this would help RingCentral as I occasionally experience application freezes on the M1 when trying to enable my camera / audio too quickly after loading into a meeting or trying to share my screen. I believe natively supporting the M1 would resolve those issues.

  9. We have a hotline. It would be beneficial if there was a way to make all calls to the hotline anonymous in the call log for the user and for the system.

  10. We currently use a bypass rule for when we are closed for a holiday so that we can have a "closed for the holiday" message. In addition to adding the dates/times in the bypass rule for the holiday I also have to go into each queue we have (6 of them) and change the hours to correspond with the bypass rule. If I don't then someone calling in will hear that we are closed but then when selecting from the options menu for a department, it will ring and ring if I don't set the hours of each queue to…

  11. Some folks communicate with me over SMS, especially those who don't work at my agency. Some folks communicate over RC Messaging. On the Windows, Web and Mobile app, I'm constantly losing messages or toggling between the phone tab (to get SMS messages) and the message tab (to get RC Messages).These are all messages. They should be in a single pane of glass. Requiring multiple clicks / taps to toggle between them is annoying and discourages me from using either.Additionally, putting SMS messaging under the same tab as the phone icon feels a little like an 'old' way of looking at…

  15. We have a few users. We offer the option for callers to press 1 to call everyone simultaneously so that the first available user can get the call. If any individual user rejects a call in the queue, RingCentral waits five seconds and then rings the same user again, over and over, until it goes to voicemail or the caller hangs up. Would be nice if rejecting the call took the user out of the queue for that incoming call, and if all users rejected the call, the caller would be sent to voicemail.

  16. We want quick internal conference call phone numbers that our internal users can call. For example, extension 8505 or 8506 could be reserved for unlimited conference calls.

  18. Please update Firmware Update to Yealink T42S phones to support WF50 WiFi Dongle. The WF40 WiFi dongle does not support the 5GHz wireless band. After reviewing with Yealink support directly, the V84 firmware and newer does support WF50 with the T42S phones.

  20. Tough to get users to take the time to upload and change their profile pictures. It would be great for admins to be able to use existing employee pictures (I.E. from Id badges/access cards) and update them globally. Even BETTER it would be great to be able to have Azure/Office365 pictures transfer over if an existing SSO conduit exists.
