  1. We assemble freelance writers from all over the world into our RC groups. All of the writers are able to see all of the other writers. It would be great if the email accounts were not visible and someone would have to message them in RC which would be easier to catch.

  2. It would be useful to sync the desktop application with the physical desk phone so that when clearing voicemails both are updated. OR when a call is answered on the desk phone it doesn't appear as missed in the desktop application

  3. When agent is making a call & SMS he needs all numbers to reflect the same so it is not confusing to the clients. Right now he is calling from 407-604-0254 and the SMS is coming from 407-723-7163. We tried switching it to the 407-604-0254 number but does not allow number to be changed. Ring Central Rep Ralph tried to change it on the back end and was not able to do so. He suggested I add an idea here. This is super important for our agents and we need it done ASAP.

  4. I received a voicemail in error, it should've gone to another extension. After chatting with a RC tech I learned there currently is no way to forward that voicemail to the correct extension. I need to be able to forward voicemails to the correct extension, preferably with the option to add a little message of my own before the voicemail like "hey, this is actually for you" and then the message plays.

It is very cumbersome to adjust the settings for the selective ringing.Today you have to click onPhoneGroup call pick upOpen popoutGroup call pick upthen click on the bell only there you can switch the ringing on or offThere should be a switch in the first window (Group call pick up) to switch the function on or off without having to open the popout first.

  6. I handle more than one business on RC. I currently have multiple numbers set up with different greetings for each number (under custom rules), that reflects the business they are calling. These numbers all ring to my cell but when I pick up I have no clue how to answer the phone. Yes, I can hear it's coming from RC, but I do not have the option to set up separate name announcements to tell me which line is being used, to answer appropriately.

  9. When we want to be able to pickup from more than 10 queues we should have the availability for this- it provides better service to our clients to ensure no calls are going missed and we do not have to choose which account is more of a priority

  14. I would like to schedule off hours so that I don't get phone notifications when I am done for the day of work. This is something Microsoft teams does, and it is super useful. You can schedule times for when you don't want to get notifications, or turn whole days off (like Saturdays and Sundays) so that you can really disconnect from work. With remote work becoming so huge, this would be a nice new feature.

When we are calling customers, we are able to call into their VOIP system, go the correct way through the prompts, then a dial tone comes on the phone. At this point we dial the customers phone number and its SHAW that shows up on the Caller ID. We work for more than just Shaw, so would like to have this so our techs in the field with their own personal phones are able to do this with our Caller ID (Integrated Solutions) through Ring Central.But they wouldn't have their own number in Ring…

  17. The text area for the auto-attendant is only two lines. This is not large enough for a customer to see the full text to speech message at a single time. This should be larger to accommodate a better UI/UX. Customer requested minimum of ten rows but ideally fifteen rows. Maybe 20-50% more columns too.

Like preventing outgoing calls for lines with no e-911 address assigned, shut off voice mails by default until the ext. is registered to an account that can access the voice mail. this would automatically be enabled once registration is completed (default would be like the option play message and disconnect

  19. We need the ability for customers to consent to call recording for inbound and outbound calls and for some agents this would mean options for multiple languages. The idea is for customers to press a digit to consent to being recorded and then be connected to the agent or disconnected. If the agent dials out, it is expected that the customer gets an IVR that will request to press a digit to consent before connecting to the agent.

When creating a new meeting in the app, it would be handy to be able to either configure default settings, or to have the settings from the last meeting remembered.At the moment, it defaults to 1 hr duration when I more often than not set mine to 30 min. I also always use my Personal Meeting ID, but the meetings are always set with it unchecked by default. Even having a default meeting title option would be nice, as most of my meetings use the same or similar names.
