  2. Add firewall rules to the MSI version of RC AppOur Cornell users have been getting firewall popups that they consider frightening (see attached). This user reported this occurred after they had FIOS newly installed in their home last weekend. We are wondering if installation packages could include firewall settings appropriate for all network types users may encounter. At Cornell we centrally deploy the MSI version and our Desktop Support Team uses that to deploy and update versions on a campus-wide basis. They have noted that the package itself does not create the needed Defender firewall rules. They would prefer RingCentral…

  5. We are a small town radio station and we do contests and don't need the rollover feature when giving stuff away. There should be a way to shut off the rollover feature, so as to give a busy signal to our contestants.

Every time I need to dial a number, I have to click the Phone icon at the bottom left, which reveals the Dial Text Box where I then paste the number I want to dial.Could you please put a copy of the dial text box at the very top left of the user interface, just below the company name heading? This will allow quick copy/paste and dialing on Return key being pressed.

  8. The task function is great but my employees forget to check tasks on regular basis so we DESPERATELY need a task notification feature. Here is how I would implement:Show notification for how many open tasks assigned to me on the left shelf task / notes / events icon. The notification should look similar to what a team/direct message notification looks like with a number for how many open tasks. It should have different colours depending on due status. Grey notification with number of tasks if task is due in the future or has no date. Orange notification if any tasks…

  10. In the new app.ringcentral.com platform, there is no way to add a "Section" to tasks. Our small company currently relies on Tasks in app.glip.com everyday to accomplish our daily responsibilities. We create a "Team" for every client we have. Sometimes the clients need a floorplan created, or an educational tutorial, or a bid for the job. We currently create the Tasks within the client's Team, but then organize the tasks by Section, such as "floorplan" or "education" or "proposal". The different sections helps us prioritize our tasks.   11. The request is to provide users the ability to block or redirect inbound calls coming from specific countries on a per-country basis, account-wide.
    Helpful additions to this request:
    - The customer to be able to specify where or how the inbound calls
    are addressed. For example, allowing them to route calls to a
    specific extension or "Play message and disconnect."
    - Have toggles in Service Web, similar to those used for defining
    what countries they can place outbound calls to.

RingCentral Office voicemail recordings are retained indefinitely until deleted by the end user by one of three methods; RingCentral Service Portal, Google Chrome Extension, or by manually dialing into the voicemail box and deleting the message. Allow from a system administrator level the ability to set a new/old message retention period.

  18. It would be best if the RingCentral Phone application can automatically go to Busy/Do Not Disturb status if a user is engaged on a RingCentral Meetings. This will prevent the RingCentral phone desktop app to ring and route the call to voicemail, in case user was not able to manually toggle it to Bust/DND.

  19. we send code snippets via Ring Central messaging and used to have the ability to maintain formatting and spacing by adding[code] to the message. We would like that functionality back and included in messaging formating
