  2. An option that can click for a temporary password like Passw0rd1 for all new users.

    We really would like the policy revoked that does not allow the use of a password more than once within the last five password changes; this isn't a rule that we authorized. I often find myself resetting passwords as an admin and needing to issue temporary ones should someone forget them. It is irritating, especially if I need to reset more than one time, to have to constantly think of fresh passwords.

  3. I only see "Forward All Queue Calls" as call forwarding set up to an external number. Is it possible to set "Forwarding when Busy" and "Forwarding when No Answer" in a call queue to an external number?

  4. the french local 09 numbers ex: +33912345678 , must be considered as local numbers in our dialplans as the 01,02,03, 04& 05 , not premium ones.

    the 09 numbers are free of charge (the only difference compared to the other local prefixes 01,02,03,04 & 05 is that the 09 numbers are non geographical). they must be all whitelisted as well on our SBC so that customers can reach them easily from any of our product REX, RCX, etc ....

  5. Currently, when a customer wishes to migrate their users to RingCentral Direct Routing in Service Web, they presently have 3 x options:
    Migrate All Options
    Migrate Specific Users
    Upload list of users to migrate.

    In the 2nd Option – Migrate Specific Users; the Admin can only search for 1 x user at a time, by telephone number, and has to drop the leading “0” to ensure the Search works correctly.

    The Search option should be changed to allow the Admin to search by Name, (First, Last) as well as by phone number, WITH the leading “0”, and allow multiple selections.

The amount of characters in the contacts notes field shortened substantially and deleted large portions of client contextual notes history, we really need as many contact notes field characters as possible, how do we enable a higher amount of these simple text notes characters for this critical field? Please let us know.

  7. In the RingEx desktop app under Call Rules and Voicemail you can 'Forward all calls'. We've been advised by Ring Tech Support that this does not work if the incoming call comes via a Call Queue. This could be misleading if a user expects this to work and does not test first.

    Could this either be changed so call queue calls are also forwarded or at least the description of 'Forward all calls' be annotated to advise as such.

  8. @ mention and hyperlink content in initial message from the "create/draft message" button from messaging home screen. currently when creating a "New Message" - you cannot tag teammates or hyperlink content, you are required to search a specific group or team member and then select an existing conversation or tag (@mention) / include hyperlinks in a follow up message.

  9. The customer is requesting to allow a Japanese toll-free Number as their Caller ID call to a local Japan number. However, this is restricted due to in-country regulations local carriers block the call and set it to auto-busy.

  11. When we were under Nextiva we set up geo-routing for the TFN phone number for Sales. if a person called from the southeast US, it would route to Georgia Sales, if the call from the Midwest, it would route to East Chicago. Everywhere else would route to South Plainfield.

  12. As ISDN and analogue lines will be phased out by major EU carriers. We need to provide a different PSTN backup via the Persist Gateway for users. We would need the possibility to use a SIP Trunk instead. The SIP Trunk should offer straightforward IP connectivity and the option for a registration type of SIP Trunk.

  17. Custom Rule templates can be created and applied at the user level, but it would be nice to have the ability to do that at the site/ivr level as well. In my case it is a large holiday schedule that we are entering on a large amount of sites. The current method is slow for having to do so many. If not allowing a template, the ability to copy/paste a date scheme would do the trick. This alone would have saved me hours of work.
