Limit Common Area Phones
Common area phones should be able to be limited to only call 911 externally and only allow calls to other internal extensions. We would rather not have a common area phone in the food court that a customer can call out from.

develop an indicator in the text fields to acknowledge if an smsm/mms text was sent successfully
We are a Pharmacy and send many texts that are time critical to our patients.If we get a # that is not sms enabled (older folks/landlines) it can impact their health. Currently we cannot determine if the patient received the communication.

"Call recording has been turned on" email notification
wordings used to the email notification that is sent monthly to the customers gives confusion as the feature is already turned but email they're receiving is "Your call recording has been turned on"It would be better to change the words that's being used when notifying the customer that the feature is already enabled

Add User Alternate First and Last Name
Provide fields to specify an alternate first and last name for users. This will help when a user has recently changed their last name, and unaware callers attempt to reach them via the dial-by-name feature using the previous name. It will also help callers to reach a user via dial-by-name when that user has alternate first names (e.g. Charlie, Chuck, etc.)

SMS drafts saved to be sent later
I have used Zipwhip for several years, they have a very convenient feature that allows a draft SMS to be saved and sent later.This feature does not exist in RingCentral, I have talked with support several times.Thanks.

Third Party Headset (Jabra) Feature integration
Customer would like to have the MUTE FEATURE FUNCTION for the Boom Arm (mouth piece) that comes with Jabra integrated with BT/RC apps. When lifed up it will mute automatically, and when lifted down it will unmute. (BT Cloudphone Desktop App)

Ability to change RC App time without changing the device time.
The RC App messages shows the user's device time.This does not help remote workers. There should be an option to change RC App's time (messages).Call routing follows extension time set but not the messages.

Be able to answer more than 2 calls on same phone
We have the Yealink T46S, we have 5 numbers that can be called into at one time and our phones will only allow 2 at a time, if a third happens to call in , we would need to go to another office phone to be able to answer. Easier to keep track of calls and chances of missing calls will be decreased

Voice Mail - Press # for more Options - Need to upload a custom Greeting / Voice Prompt
When you are leaving a VM there is an option to press # for more options. This brings up a female voice prompt with more instructions. We would like to be able to upload our own voice prompt for this. We have paid for a Voice over actor for all menus. but there is no ability to upload the Voice over actors voice prompt for this Menu

Round Robin From Fax Numbers (Caller ID)
RingCentral would be able to sell more fax numbers by implementing this, because businesses would want a pool of phone numbers to send FROM. In our business (and I'm sure others), faxes often fail to send to the recipient (I think it's probably a bandwidth problem on the recipient side).Another possibility is that the businesses we're faxing (Credit Bureaus that want to work against us and our consumer clients) are blocking our phone numbers.Two Potential Implementations: 1. Cut down on video processing time
I created a test video that I recorded and it was about a 30 second video. It is still processing and it's been about 30 minutes so far. I was able to record a similar video with Snag It and that was a 10 second video and it took seconds to process.

Use star code change IVR
Ability to use star codes, like *72 for example, to change IVR. would facilitate ability to do a quick swap to after hours menus without website required

Update CID On Forwarded Calls
If a call is forwarded to another extension from the an extension it would be nice to modify the incoming CID on the destination phone.Example:Call comes into extension 150.Extension 150 is set to forward to 170 if 150 doesn't answer.On extension 170 we would like to have the CID modified similar to what is done in Call Queues to indicate call came from another source and not their DID.-Mitch

Show total number of voicemails on RingCentral App
Currently on the Ringcentral App, you can only see a listing of all voicemails that have been received in your Ringcentral App but it does not show you the total number of voicemails. Given that the cap on the maximum amount of voicemails one can have is 200, it would be helpful to see at a glance, the total number of voicemails one has at all times.
