Customer John is reporting that when their callers called their line - as soon as they reach the VM greeting there are times that caller will accidentally or intentionally press * and it says " Please enter your PIN and press pound ", they don't want that enabled. As of right now there is no option for us in the admin portal to turn it off

  5. First, this is extremely basic functionality, I was disappointed as I was expecting significantly more. The term "AI Receptionist" implies a lot more than what the product seems to deliver. I was hoping this could replace an out-sourced receptionist service. It can't. The most important reason for a receptionist is to screen calls. This doesn't seem to do that. It routes calls. There is a huge difference.

    Second, although I was able to add documents to the knowledge hub, they don't really seem to actually be used in any meaningful way. It is disconnected from everything else. I can ask…

    Feature Request:
    Ability to delete blocked numbers in bulk

    Current Behavior:
    User can only delete blocked numbers one by one

    Expected Behavior:
    Have an option to select numbers in bulk to delete blocked numbers

    Users > Users with Extension > Select Ext > Phone > Blocked Numbers > Block numbers or area codes

  9. Currently all "User settings templates" can be sort by name, created date.. which requires to have a naming convention to find the good templates.

    Is it possible to be able the classify the user template under folders and subfolders.
    For example if I have several user settings template to manage all bank holiday then I can put all of them in the same subfolder.

    It will be much easier to manager the templates like that.

I had to copy and paste the company name to the first name section for all of our contacts, in order to make the show on the fax ID in the RC desktop app. But I would like to request RC to allow the company name to also show in the caller/fax ID section as well as the first and last name section

  14. There should be an API call to allow a unique code to be generated in RingCentral that can be displayed on our website to certain logged in customers. When a customer calls our phone number and selects a certain extension, this code will be required as a password. The code should be viable for, say 5 mins.

  16. Our customer wants to be able to include via the "notes" field : the person's name , extension and email within their business contacts
    When adding contacts via RC app , on the notes field of edit contact they want to be able to save the details like this example below:
    Test name ext 101 - test@gmail.com
    Test name ext 102 - test@gmail.com
    Test name ext 103 - test@gmail.com
    Test name ext 104 - test@gmail.com

    But it does not let him separate each details per line instead it'll go as one line like as example below:

The cover page generated by RingCentral contains crucial transmission details (sender info, recipient info, date/time, subject, number of pages) that aren't always fully replicated in the same format on the basic status confirmation report. The users want proof of what was sent, including the RingCentral's generated cover-page details. We currently receive fax status confirmation through email, would it be possible to include the server's generated cover page along with the transmission confirmation status report from our sent faxes?

  19. We have a number of people who can do email to fax for a specific extension. As it is, when someone sends a fax via email, they do not get a notification of the fax transmission results. We do not want all of the email to fax users get all fax transmission results, just for the ones they send.

  20. I finally got they Poly phones plugged in at my remote restaurant. I have an IVR set up & I have all the prompts set up but I cant find where to set it to USE this menu when someone calls.
    the phone # for this remote restaurant is 317-548-0749. it should go to the IVR Menu called 3141 Menu. then if they press 3 it should ring the physical phone at the restaurant.

    Summary:

    caller dial the user number route call to IVR when caller press key press 3 it should route back the call to the number dialed…
