Filter contacts when transferring calls to only users with the appropriate license to receive calls.
Users with a license that does not accept calls (ex Video Pro) show up in the company directory when transferring calls.
Attempting to transfer a call to these users will go directly to voicemail with no greeting or introduction. This is not ideal for users as it is unclear what is happening.

Automatic Reload in desktop app.
On the RingCentral desktop application for Windows (currently 25.2.30.11.780). It would great if the application automatically reloads (Crtl+R) once a day since swapping users to another phone doesn't update the HUD or Favorites with correct name unless user manually reloads (Crtl+R) application.

It would be very useful to display and change your own status in the HUD.

currently HUD is unavailable on the iphone app, only androids. Nextiva and other cloud based systems have this feature available for iphone users.

Fax Bridge
Customer want to have an option to use fax bridge instead of the RC app or ATA device

app only password
- as per the customer it used to be under user>user details>security>generate app password
- used to be 16 character long
- generate one time password without giving the login credentials, so the person (without any active extension on the RC admin portal can log in on the RC app on their phone)
and they want it to be available again

Set Ringtones for Different Call Queues
For users who are members of different Call Queues, allow them to set different ringtones to allow at an auditory level to differentiate between them. Both for App and Phone.

Differentiate Missed Calls That Were Answered by Queues or Backup Extensions
Currently, when a call is routed to a user extension but not answered—and then picked up by a call queue or backup extension—the original user’s call log shows it as "missed." This can cause confusion for both end users and admins, especially when there is a valid call recording and the call was actually handled.
Proposed Solution:
Add a new call status such as "Forwarded & Answered" or "Missed by User, Answered by Queue" to better reflect the call path.
Display which extension ultimately answered the call in the call log (e.g., "Answered by ext. 13 – Dispatch").

Option to manually switch service
When RC App is having intermittent connection issues, provide an option to manually switch servers, allowing users to connect to a different cellular service during service disruptions.

Ability to change the Email address from the RingCentral University when it has a different email address. Customer was able to login using the email address associated on their user ext. but on the Profile, it has a different email.

Have a single point of entry for faxes
It will be helpful if we have an option for the customers to set up a single point of entry for their incoming faxes.

Ability to Stop SMS on after hours
I have business hours set on RC so that calls will go straight to VM after hours. How do I restrict text messages from coming through after business hours as well?
I have talked with a support however the option for SMS schedule is not yet available it would be helpful if there is a way to schedule SMS traffic with the account6 votes -
Retain the caller ID of the original caller when transferring calls to an external number using the RingCentral app
When the Ringcentral number is called and answered on the user extension, if they need to transfer the call to an external number, the original caller ID number should still show up and not the phone number of the RingCentral user.
