  1. We would love to copy contact names from an excel doc & paste those, in mass, into the 'TO' field of a new message, so we can send that message up to 100 people. Now you have to manually start typing in the name & then select it. This isn't preferable for a text going out to 100 contacts

  4. It would be a great marketing capability if we could send mass voicemail messages out to our clients. We have an extensive list of clients and would like to be able to pre-record a message and send it out to a predetermined number of clients all at once instead of having to call them one at a time. Does Ring Central have a way of doing that and if so, how?

  5. Use Case: The customer is using our RingCentral Call Queues for Customer Service calls and likes how they work. They want to extend their Customer Service experience to also include SMS. Ideally, they want to be able to simply manage the SMS within the Call Queue setting to determine which agents should receive an SMS, depending on who's available. Also, they want to decide who should be receiving the SMS messages.Feature request:
    Allow Queue Manager to determine which agents can receive SMS or not in the Queue setting, just like they do today for agent availability on calls

Customer called in and asked on how to log out his RC desktop app. The customer advised that he followed the instruction in support.ringcentral.com (https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Log-Out-RingCentral-Phone-Desktop.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_Phone&language=en_US ), however, was not able to find the log-out button in Settings. Instead, we were able to find it in Display Picture (top -left of the app) then Sign-Out. Please update the article. Thank you!

  9. I would like the ability to see who is on a conf call! and disconnect calls if they shouldn't be on the call. I see when you add a call on the conference call you see the number before you merge them into the conf call

  10. A feature allowing other employees/managers to see when a user has their phone on DND. This would allow us to keep track of employees during there work hours and also a way for employees to know when someone is unavailable.

  11. When forwarding incoming outside calls, we need the outside caller ID to pass through to the forwarded number. It would be useful when passing along calls to other numbers if we could also pass along teh caller ID as well

  13. "Pin" the left-hand column of my users on the phone display to always appear even when on an active call. Many times, I transfer calls to one of these users so it would be beneficial to just "touch" their name on the display verses having to dial their extension.

  18. Hi,Submitting this feature request on behalf of a customer. They are moving services to a new provider, and they have around 40 phones that they need to reset so they can provision the device to the new provider. They are hoping that there would be a way to bulk reset the phones.

  19. Only those with access to the Admin Portal should be able to freely access call recordings. If this option remains on the app, a PIN should be required to listen and download recordings.

  20. For example, extension 1 is a reception line and forwards voicemails to the night time general mailbox, which is extension 2. It would be useful if the red light on the physical RC Phone could be set to blink still when a voicemail comes in and is forwarded to extension 2.So essentially if a voicemail box monitoring option for other extensions could be created which makes the light blink.
