This suggestion speaks to the same need many of us have—just because someone is part of a call park group doesn’t mean they need to be notified every time. Customizing this per user or per app would help immensely.
I’d suggest merging this into the broader idea with the most community support: "Call Park Notification Control in the RingCentral Desktop App" (https://ideas.ringcentral.com/forums/958493-phone-messaging/suggestions/48082760). Centralizing the feedback will make the case even stronger for meaningful changes.

These HUD notifications often cause confusion by alerting everyone in the office—even when a parked call isn’t relevant to them. This issue is a major source of unnecessary disruption.
Since this overlaps with the broader request for customizable park notifications, please consider merging it into the most supported suggestion: "Call Park Notification Control in the RingCentral Desktop App" (https://ideas.ringcentral.com/forums/958493-phone-messaging/suggestions/48082760). The community clearly wants the same solution.

This is an important part of the bigger issue. Even users on physical desk phones are getting interrupted by park alerts they don’t need. There’s clearly a pattern here—users across platforms (desktop, mobile, desk phones) all want more control.
Please consider merging this with the related idea: "Call Park Notification Control in the RingCentral Desktop App" (https://ideas.ringcentral.com/forums/958493-phone-messaging/suggestions/48082760), which has the highest vote count. The issue spans all interfaces, and a unified fix would go a long way.

Totally agree with the concerns here. When every user tied to a Park Location gets bombarded with notifications—especially those who don’t need to act on them—it creates noise and risk. The workaround to disable all incoming notifications is not practical.
Please consider merging this into the broader, high-priority request: "Call Park Notification Control in the RingCentral Desktop App" (https://ideas.ringcentral.com/forums/958493-phone-messaging/suggestions/48082760). We need better admin controls and user-level notification settings for parked calls.

This enhancement is critical for our environment. Our front desk receptionist handles a high volume of incoming calls and frequently parks them for other staff members. Each time a call is parked, the RingCentral desktop app plays a notification sound that’s currently tied to the “Direct messages” setting. This overlap is causing significant notification fatigue among our team.

The constant chime is disruptive and misleading—it makes staff think they’re receiving direct messages, when it’s actually just another parked call. This is especially problematic in a small office where everyone relies on clear, distinct notifications to stay on top of tasks.

While the mobile app gives us the option to silence park notifications, the desktop app does not. Without the ability to mute or change this specific sound, we risk staff beginning to ignore RingCentral notifications altogether, which could lead to missed messages or calls that truly need attention.

We strongly support the ability to control (or completely disable) parked call notification sounds in the desktop app. This would help reduce distraction and keep our team responsive to the alerts that matter most.

This idea highlights exactly what so many of us are struggling with—popup notifications for parked calls that appear disruptive and non-customizable. These alerts often create confusion and distract from real-time tasks.
Please consider merging this with the higher-voted idea: "Call Park Notification Control in the RingCentral Desktop App" (https://ideas.ringcentral.com/forums/958493-phone-messaging/suggestions/48082760). All of us are asking for the same core enhancement: granular control over when and how call park notifications behave.
