Please add ability to make notes and tie to a given number.
we do a lot of call backs and follow up and it would be great to use the RC app rather than using Zapier or some other app to dump numbers into our crm. This would make RC a mini crm for tracking call history until a number is actually converted. We would also be able to them track history in the mobile app too. Don’t forget about the smbs who don’t want to pay for added services in order to track customer touch points.

Unread notification should specify type
when you see the number bubble for new/unread there is no further indication that it could be a text message or other message type other than missed call/voicemail. It would be nice to show new/unread for all types by default or at minimum show an indicator number next to each message type so we don’t have to guess.

Drag and drop teams/people into folders
Currently, you can only add and move teams in/out of folders using a drop-down menu. I think it would be easier if you could just click, drag, and drop teams (and perhaps people too) into desired folders in the left-pane.

Subtasks
It's an age-old request, but it would be great if Glip had the ability to break a large task up into smaller subtasks - each with their own assignees and due dates.

More options for recurring tasks and events
Glip’s options for recurring tasks and events are far too limited for real-world productivity. We need options that allow intervals like - recur every # of weeks and recur on the last Friday of the month. Basically, look at how Google calendar offers recurring events and copy it!

Allow administrators to send individual message to all and/or assign task to all
I’d like to be able to assign tasks to everyone on staff at once. I’d also like to be able to send a message to everyone’s personal chats at once.

More color options
Hello,
I opperate a company that floats a lot of tasks and ideas around. One thing we have done is colorcode certain concepts in order for them to stand out differently on the calendar view. The problem is we have more ideas and projects then the current color options provided in Glip. Is there any plans to have that increase?4 votes -
When turning a comment into a task, put the comment in the description instead of the title
Comments don't tend to make great, snappy, actionable task titles, so when converting a comment into a task, I think the comment should automatically be added to the task description for context while letting you create a new task title right away.

Dependencies
Some tasks can't be started until other tasks are complete. I would love to see the ability for Glip to unlock new, assigned tasks as other tasks are checked off.

Sort tasks by likes
Let's say you're brainstorming with your team and start listing out some actionable ideas on a task list. It would be great if people could like individual tasks which could then be sorted by the number of likes to see the most popular ideas/actions. I believe Asana can do this.

Future Date Conference Phone Calls
I need to schedule a phone conference call for a future date and time using RingCentral's standard conference calling feature. I do not want to use RingCentral Video or create a video meeting—I only need an audio-only conference call that participants can dial into at the scheduled time. I'm looking for a way to set this up in advance instead of having to start the conference call immediately when it's needed.

Auto-Assign SMS Shared Inbox to Designated User
Currently SMS sent to the Shared Inbox does not trigger notifications until it is assigned to a specific user. This results in delays and missed messages in the Shared Inbox, and relies on manually checking for messages without any badge or notification indicator.
It would be helpful if there was a setting to auto-assign a user to all incoming SMS to the Shared Inbox, with the option to assign them to other users as needed, since incoming SMS only triggers notifications when there is a specific assigned user attached.

opt out
Please move the opt out message option to a different location. Or stop the pop out from coming up when the cursor is over it. I click on the bar to type and when it expands up, the cursor moves to the opt out box and a pop up appears, and I can't see what I'm typing.

As a healthcare organization using RC Fax via API integration as part of a controlled and compliant workflow, our users are still able to send faxes directly from the desktop application, which bypasses our approved API process and creates compliance and audit risk. We are requesting the capability to disable or restrict faxing from the RingCentral client (desktop/app UI), on the account level, while fully preserving fax functionality through our established API integration, so that all outbound fax traffic is enforced through our governed system.
