  3. On incoming calls via the iOS app, all that shows is the "Caller ID" name. A lot of the time, that name is simply the name of a city that the area code is from. The phone number itself is not shown. It would be very useful to see the phone number as well to determine who is calling, especially when the Caller ID is unhelpful.

  4. It is not possible to access Outlook contacts, or have the app access the contacts directly from our Exchange server. Neither can I click Call on the contact in Outlook, as the RingCentral app doesn't connect to Microsoft Telephony Services. A phone app without the ability to dial contacts is not very useful.

  5. It would be great for these who wish to pay their bill with a simple click instead of having to add a card make the payment and the deleting the card. One time payments with using prepaid cards would help.

  6. We have a group of staff that rotate on-call duties after hours. In the past they would setup IVR to allow customers to contact on-call in an emergency and that would ring to a message only extension. Then, we added everyone's cell to the notifications. Assign the RC contact to our phones, and assign a loud ringtone to be notified when someone had left a VM after hours, then they call them back. I am trying to assemble a solution that would allow them to use their personal cell phones and I'd be able to create call queues in rotating…

  8. my company has different divisions, i am the contact for 2 of them, i would like to be able to receive my text messages through one ring central app. right now, at night, i miss the texts from one of the extensions.

  9. When super admins download logs for MVP chat messages, they should being in a downloadable, easy to read format (a csv instead of txt file) where it clearly states the users extension and name instead of a creator id.

  10. The customer is getting spam voicemails. These are 20 sec of silence voice messages. If the spam calls cannot be blocked, there should be no way for spam call to leave and send voicemail.

  11. Same as an Email Distribution list but for texts - One phone number can have multiple users on it to be able to receive a text or send a text. A group of people can receive the one text sent for that specific number but can also send texts to that specific number and can be receive by multiple users.

  12. We recently migrated to RingCentral and have come to discover that one of the biggest features we use is not available with RingCentral. From our desk phones, we are unable to conference if the two calls we want to conference are both external. It gives a busy signal instantly.To clarify, if we call an external phone number, then try to conference with a second external number, this does not work.   13. We have an unleievably high number of support requests that come in advising users are not recieving any inbound calls on their handsets. Upon further investigation and request for photographs we learn that they have turned on DND and forgotten to turn it back off.It would be ideal if the RC Admin Portal, Devices page also reported on the DND status of a device, making it easier to detect this issue.

  14. Currently if we want ANY of our users to have access to additional functionality, we cant do so without upgrading ALL of our users. Please let us mix licenses between all the users in our Org, so that we can potentially have some users on Essentials, some on Premium, etc.Surprised that I was not able to find this already requested as an idea as I KNOW several others want this too.

I think it would be helpful to have the SMS on the desktop app act like the mobile app where the texts from yourself are on the right side and texts from the other person on the left. also having different colors to differentiate your texts or the other person's texts. This makes it easier to read and find messages from yourself or the other person.
