  1. I hope we will have an option to create an auto response in SMS so whenever someone sent SMS we can send them an auto response. It will be very beneficial for every company and will saves time.

  2. In Classic version I could add a comment/reply that would be visible to users everyday of the task. So on Monday I could make a comment and on Thursday that comment is still visible on a daily repeat task. On the new version a comment made on Monday is NOT visible unless I go hunt for the task that was closed on Monday, even when its a repeating task (done every day).

  3. We have our Polycom IP6000 conference phones set up as limited extensions but in some sites we'd like them to be able to take incoming calls 24 hours a day. Can only do this if the device is associated to a user and set up as such. Would like the ability to change open hours for a limited extension device.

  4. Using the HUD in the Desktop App, you can add your internal RingCentral contacts to your desk phones. It would be a huge quality of life upgrade to have the ability to add any of your contacts, whether RingCentral, or for example, synced from Outlook, to your desk phone's display through the HUD.

  5. I have "personal" contacts in the RingCentral app (not synced from Google etc). These are often just added from the call history, then I add a company name.If one of these contacts calls, the company name doesn't show on the inbound call popup (or macOS notification). The company also doesn't show in the Personal contacts list.On the mobile version of the app, it shows the company name for inbound calls, and in the Personal contacts list, so this seems to be a bug specific to the desktop version.The work around I've found, is to just put the company name into…

  6. In the old RC app, we were able to remove company contacts ourselves. Now we have to ask Support to do it, which may take 5-7 days, and in the meantime the contact being removed can still see our interactions!

  7. Please make a RingCentral ios app that is compatible to phones prior to IOS 12 because not everyone has Ios 12 on their Iphone or Ipad. It would be useful to make a Lite version that supports devices from IOS 8. Only minimal features needed. The former RC Meetings app supports it but the new RC is too hard on device requirement.

  8. I would like to be able to have the administrator change the settings for the incoming faxes. We currently have one main fax line, but currently the fax line has to be connected to a user, and the settings are only available in the user's desktop application. There isn't a place for the administrator to change the settings on the admin portal.

Support informed me that there's zero way even as a super admin to delete a post made by an app integartion into the messaging app. We use Zapier to post news article links into a News team channel. Despite being the super admin and the one who set up the integration and whos account it authenticates with, I am unable to remove any posts by the app.

  11. There are currently 7 default display options to display to agents answering call queueus. Phone Number, Queue Name, Caller ID, etc. It would be great if we could cusomtize what is displayed to the agent while maintinging to call queue name on the backend for reporting purposees.

  12. Would be nice to have a custom emoji next to a user's name so you know they have a custom status that is maybe hoverable. Currently you cannot see the status until you specifically click on their name. Would be a lot easier to just to glance the contact list/sidebar and see whether or not they're available and if not, hover over the emoji and see what their status is. The fewer the clicks, the better user experience.

  13. There's the 3 default status - Available, DND, Invisible, but would be nice to have maybe a yellow "away" status. So you know that person is working but maybe just went on lunch or break and will be back soon, as opposed to being off for the day/on PTO.

  14. the new app doesnt show caller id. the new app is to wide . the old app was about 3.5 inches wide so i could leave it up and monitor all my calls.

Currently, the only way for Super Admins to control the text recording would be under the Administrative settings in the RingCentral app. Super Admins can enable or disable message data exports for users. Along with that, there should also be an option for Super Admins to enable text capture/record in the User Template. Video recordings should also be controlled by the Super Admins as well

  16. I have several RingCentral users in a Tech Support call queue that make frequent use of Outlook calendar meetings and Cisco Webex for remote support assistance. They are all members of a simultaneous Ringcentral call queue for tech support. If they are using Webex for a meeting, including that product's built in voice capabilities, they are currently getting calls from the tech support queue because the RingCentral app does not alter its user status to Busy/DoNotDisturb to match that of Outlook's user status.   17. We have an equal amount of users with voicemail only extensions as we do DID users. Having the ability to bulk add these users would greatly improve the performance of adding these users to the RC system.

  20. Please add the Conversation Stream feature from the "classic" ring central app into the new ring central app so that all of your team and direct messages are sorted in 1 list (instead of being separated into a list of direct messages and a list of teams)
