  1. Our subsidiaries do not want to see the parent company name at the top of their app. We have multiple DBAs and each is represented by a Site. I would like each user to see the name of their site rather than the parent company name.

  2. I implemented a system for a customer that would like to be able to hear his phones ring over a CyberData Paging Amplifier and speaker system. Currently, this is not a feature of the RingCentral system.

  3. Skype had a sweet feature where calls would appear in a pop-up window on the lower-left of the screen. This would be a nice feature to have, as many times the Ring Central app is minimized in the background and hard to find/answer calls on short notice. The pop-up allows for substantially faster response times to calls, whether its an accept or decline, so that the call can be picked up or rotated to another user in the queue more rapidly.

  4. If a user leaves the office and is away from their desk, they'll still rotate within the call queue. Invisible users should be treated the same as "do not disturb", so that if a user leaves for an extended period of time without disabling "queue calls", they won't negatively disrupt/impact the queue.

  5. Currently if a group is set to ring all members at once and someone else answers it will show as a missed call for everyone else who didn't answer. It would be nice if the system knew the call had been answered and didn't show as a missed call.

  9. The request is to provide better tools to dial IVNs. This mainly pertains to in-country dialing for Toll-Free in Service Web. Currently, the customer has to find out how to first dial the number and verify that it's working properly.

Our main contact is upset he can't restrict the notification emails that reach end users on a couple fronts:A) He believes the liability is on his organization to communicate this to usersB) That aside, he doesn't understand why these notifications need to be sent monthly... why is this needed more than once?He wants the ability to be able to turn these off completely as his business already has paperwork in place with users to address this and these only cause greater confusion.Generational Equity, UID: 2375197015, 11k MRR

Customer is requesting the ability to customize the activation pages for a new user.They want to remove the downloads page that a new user gets when they go through the activation steps.Kelly pushes out the RC Phone desktop app to the desktop through their Altiris deployment tool. Since they do this, they do not want users to download the application again or to download the RCApp application since they do not use this.

  15. Some customers need the ability to authenticate a custom application for server-side connection via password-flow. However, when they enforce SSO on the account, this option goes away. If a single user in the account could authenticate via RC Credentials while the rest of the users are enforced for SSO, this would solve the issue.

  17. Request is for ability to assign billing approval limits within Roles, allowing Site Admins to add product/services to their site within the account up to a specified limit. If billing exceeds this limit, it gets escalated for approval by Super Admin.

  20. Administrators would like admin access to each UID for those large corporations that are made up of individual UIDs. This becomes an issue when each UID is using Forced SSO so there is no way to create individual home office user accounts in every UID. Leveraging AD Group Membership would solve this issue.
