  2. Allow users to record snippets of calls. If we turn on that ALL calls are recorded, it removes ability for agent to record snippets.

  6. If others use the home computer that I use (I am a therapist who works from home), it would be great to have a passcode for the app itself so even if others can access the computer, they can't access the app.

  9. On a Polycom device, in addition to transferring a call to someone else's voicemail using "0"+"extension number", we would like to be able to press "0"+their softkey extension.

For longer and more complex notes it becomes an issue that to read or change a note that it covers the entirety of the desktop app.Allowing it to pop out to a separate window would allow users to reference information sent in messages more easily as well as check and respond to incoming messages without having to save and close the note frequently or work with other text editing apps as intermediaries between RingCentral messages and RingCentral notes.

  11. RC on Mac. This is fairly standard across the web: enter text into a textboxpress cmd enterform posts to serverBut when I press enter or cmd enter in a text compose window it won't send. I have to move my hand off the keyboard to actually send. See attachment. No variation of the enter key that I have tried will actually "send" that message.

  12. Currently its about a long 10 second pause after entering the name prior to hearing anything. It would be nice if the prompt said we could press a key to finalize the submission or shorten up the timer.

  13. We have different language queues but we can only have one Recording Notification and it is in English. It would be nice if we could customize this on a per queue level, so that callers who do not speak English understand that the call is being recorded.

  16. Putting someone on hold and playing music is acceptable practice and usually a user will tell the other person on the line that they will be put on hold. A call flip however is primary used by the user to leave the office or return to the office while on the phone. This transition is so fast and smooth that hold music is not needed. It can also cause confusion to others on a call when they hear hold music when not expecting it. I request there be a setting to disable just the call flip hold music and not…

Yealink has a great dual connect headset (WH63) that can flip between deskphone and softphone/computer. https://www.yealink.com/product/headset-wh63 Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Ring Central because Ring Central's firmware for the Yealink phones is outdated. This was my message to Yealink after hours of figuring this out. Is it possible to push/help Ring Central to update their auto-provisioned Firmware to V86 for the T42S and T46S Yealink Phones? If I update my T42S/T46S handset firmware to V86 so that I can use your WH63 headset, their settings will downgrade the firmware back to V81 and thus the headset is unusable.See: https://support.yealink.com/en/portal/compatibleHowever:

  19. The ability to duplicate the default "all employee group" on GLIP would be nice for internal company-wide notifications that are of a different subject matter. Currently, we use the "all employee group" for IT issues only. If I want to create a separate group to notify everyone of events, for example, each user I want to contact must be input individually. This easily becomes an issue if your org has 100+ users and is hiring new people all the time (they'd need to be added on an ongoing basis, which is hard to maintain!).

  20. We use 3-digit office extension numbers. if you pause for a few seconds while direct-dialing another extension the call will time out. I want to be able to adjust the length of time to complete a 3-digit extension dial to 5, 10 and 15 seconds.
