  1. Currently, when users save personal contacts within the RingCentral app, the phone number is automatically stored with the country code prefix “1” (for U.S. and Canada). This causes compatibility issues when using these contacts in other applications or when exporting contact cards (vCards).

    Allow users to save and export personal contacts without automatically adding the “1” prefix, ensuring better interoperability with other apps that rely on standard contact formatting.

  3. We are migrating our email addresses to another domain. We have tried to access and change the email domain for users in the online account under User > Templates; however, there are no options for us to change the email domain for multiple users in bulk within the account. It would be very helpful if we are able to update the email addreses in bulk in the account

  4. Call # 1 should ring to # 1
    Call # 2 should ring to # 2

    Right now, if I do Fixed order. It rings to #1 , she answers, completes her call then the next call ring to her again, she answers then the next ect.

    When the next call comes in, weather it is answered by Member#1 or not, next call should go to Member #2.

  5. Changing the Mexico number format in RingCentral system as the current format shows as +52 (8) 992685423, this should be change to +52 (899) 2685432 to eliminate any potential confusion for your customers.

  6. When a user setup a call forwarding on a deskphone, a call queue routing is affected if the user is a member of the call queue. There should be a way to prevent this or disable deskphone call forwarding.

  9. As advertised on https://www.ringcentral.com/us/en/blog/reduce-background-noise/, RingCentral uses AI, so it should not only work on recommended headsets. It should work, whatever headset is used, so that the system only picks up the primary voice.

  10. Currently, if a number is saved as a contact on a mobile device, the device prioritizes the local contact name and does not allow CNAM information to override it during incoming calls.

    Requesting the implementation of a feature that allows CNAM to override the saved contact name on mobile devices, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date caller identification is displayed, even when a contact exists locally.

  11. Workflows are very limited today and only apply to SMS. The NEED for Workflows flexibility for phone is a major option Mitel (ShoreTel) customers lost moving to RingCentral. EX: A workflow to allow a users to send calls to voice while on an existing call (on any RC device), however if a specific user or external priority customer calls, allow it to ring through while on an existing phone call.

    Workflows were call Call Handling Modes in Mitel/ShoreTel and other PBX systems.

  15. The customer wants the call recording to start only after the client answers the call (i.e., when the call is connected/picked up) and end when the call is terminated.

    Current Behavior (Problem): Records for 60 seconds (30 seconds ringing + 30 seconds talking).

    Desired Behavior (Feature): Records for only 30 seconds (the actual conversation time)

  18. From a business value perspective, we propose that calls routed to a RingCentral voicemail should not be subject to toll-free minute deductions. This adjustment would ensure that minutes are consumed only when a live connection is established with a user, thereby enhancing the overall value of the service.

  20. We purchased additional phone lines that serve as a bank of phone numbers used for outbound sales activities that are shared by our entire sales team. It would be nice if the sales team could also use these same numbers as outbound text messaging and any reply text from the outbound shared phone lines would deliver the texts messages to the group of sales people using the shared phone lines. Currently the shared lines are not able to be selected for out bound texting.
