Ability to Program Softkeys of Poly Phones to Dial Page-only Extensions Directly
The ability to program presence keys to dial paging extensions directly instead of dialing *84 and the extension number manually, which consumes time.

Deskphone Pairing Enabled:
We answered the call through the desktop app, but the deskphone still logged the call as a missed call.
Mitel has confirmed this is expected behavior — since the deskphone rang, the device logs the call as missed even if it was answered via the app.
Feature Request:
Would it be possible to introduce a feature that removes or suppresses the missed call notification on the deskphone if the call has already been answered through the app? This would help avoid confusion and ensure missed call logs accurately reflect unanswered calls.2 votes -

Request for Feature: Display Toll-Free Number as Caller ID Regardless of Selected Outbound Number
Could RingCentral provide or enable a feature that ensures our toll-free number is always displayed to customers as the caller ID, even if a different number has been selected in the background? the ability to type in the time instead of using the drop down in custom rule. for instances like 5:30 we need to click the dropdown for minutes to 30 times instead of just typing it in.

RC desktop app "Always on Top" feature for Text messaging

Admin Control to Disable User Changes to Ring Volume and DND Settings on Desk Phones
Request to provide administrators with the ability to disable or lock settings on desk phones—specifically to prevent users from changing the ring volume or enabling Do Not Disturb (DND) status on Yealink T43U and other supported models. This feature would help organizations enforce consistent phone behavior and reduce user-configured disruptions.

Automatic Call Routing Based on Caller Address
We would like to request a feature enhancement that allows the RingCentral system to automatically detect the address of an incoming call (based on the caller ID or associated account information) and reroute the call accordingly.
Our business receives calls from tenants across multiple territories. Each territory is managed by a specific receptionist or department. Instead of routing all calls through a central menu or requiring the caller to manually choose an option, the system would intelligently recognize the caller’s address and automatically route the call to the appropriate receptionist or team.2 votes -
Option to turn off regular SMS if Beetexting is already added in the account
If Beetexting is already added in the account the customer should have the option to turn off the regular SMS
If the customer added Beetexting, the regular SMS duplicate the message, which is a normal behavior. But cx want to have the option in the settings to turn off duplicate SMS

allow users to reorder text templates once entered
It would be nice to be able to reorganize any text templates in the list. LIke being able to drag and drop more used texts to the top and less used to the bottom.

Bulk download of default password for Polycom
It would be a valuable feature to have the option to obtain the default RingCentral password for Polycom phones purchased from RingCentral. Currently, obtaining the password for each default setting can be troublesome and time-consuming.

Assign phone to limited extension
Currently assigning phones to Limited Extensions is a much more cumbersome than it should be!
Current workflow:
Navigate to Groups -> Limited Extensions
Find limited extension to assign a phone
make note of phone number assigned to the limited extension
Navigate to Phones and Devices ->Common Area Phones
Search for phone number
Select the existing phone
Click Change Phone button
Search MAC address of phone to assign
Assign phoneThe process should be identical to assigning a phone to a normal User Extension as described below:
Navigate to User List -> Users with Extensions
Expand Phones and Devices

Click to call in Microsoft Edge
Click to call in Microsoft edge.
This can easily be done in Google chrome by the use of the Ring Central Google Chrome extension and the ring central desktop app.
At the moment this logic has yet to be applied to Microsoft edge. In edge they have the extension but it doesn’t allow you to access it after downloading the extension.
