  5. Customer wants to be able to enable calling out to certain UK local premium numbers by the use of his handset/cloud phone and not on the portal.

    Given the technology today, instead of saying " you're not allowed to call out to this number, please call your BT admin to enable it" , he wants to say " you're not allowed to call out to this number, if you wish to enable it, press ok"

  7. Currently you can turn on an outbound call recording notifications for all lines being recorded. There is no way to select which extensions the notification plays for, its all extensions or no extensions.

    I would suggest adding a feature where you can select which extensions the notification plays on. My firm is based in Louisiana, which is a one-party consent state, we're not required to let the client we're calling know that they're being recorded.

    In the RingCentral Windows app integrated with Microsoft Outlook, users can right-click a phone number in the body of an email to initiate a call using the softphone.
    This feature is highly appreciated as it allows users to call clients directly from their signature phone numbers without additional steps.

    Problem:

    The ability to right-click and dial is not available for phone numbers in the subject line of emails.

  13. Feature Request : Have option to Use the Primary number of the extension as the Contact Phone number

    Details : At the moment the contact phone on the user details is not allowing the Primary number of the extension to be its Contact Phone number. Every time it is saved it will say number not valid

  16. When sending out faxes, the caller ID shows as (631) 676-1623. It should show the Toll-free number as the caller ID as this confuses the recipient of the fax.

  17. Need to make an "after hours" button on the reception desk phone that will put the site number to forward to the after hours extension. When they push the button, it forwards the site number to that extension.

    We need to be able to change it at will on a DESK phone for weekends and special occasions when the office is on meetings, emergencies etc, we can not go to the website every time to change it.

  18. To have the ability to restrict users from deleting their voicemail messages or set them to read only. Or another option would be an email notification sent to admins every time a user deleted their voicemail message so admins can check with them and have at least notification or documentation.

    • I need a user extension to be accessible by multiple users.
    • They all have their own user extension and their emails are used for that, but they all need to sign into a separate account at different times
    • Is there a way to do this?
    • I can't re-use any of their email addresses it looks like for the two-factor log in
