Disable "AI is taking notes" when on call
We need an ability to turn off the announcement on the "AI notes" as its taking a few seconds before I can answer the call

Hi everyone, we hear your feedback and understand this is a pain point. Our product team is currently exploring options to get this addressed. Thank you!

The transcription feature is great, but the anouncment 5 seconds into a conversation is a huge distraction and confuses our clients.

I'm having problems with our business, I'll deactivate this feature for now. It's very useful but this flaw is terrible.

Just record an empty "custom" prompt.

I understand if we need to do it but sometimes it happens well into the call. It's inconsistent with the timing so it's hard to work around. if it happens at the very beginning everytime, staff would be able to pause until it states it's announcement but it's not consistent so it definitel ybreaks the flow of conversation every time.

It's bad enough that I have to go back to the "calls" tab after every single call to prevent the call window from not opening up separately from the rest of the app, but having now to press a button to collapse the "notes" feature at the start of every call is equally annoying. Please leave the interface alone so that we don't have to keep pressing a button to normalize things; especially on a per-call basis!

it's filled that something is not working well when I'm talking to a client and during our talk something overlaps our conversation. and the client asking if there is anyone 3rd in this conversation. this making so much problem and its needs to be removed!!!

We already say we are recording earlier in the call and this is just another unneeded one.

Really need to have the option to turn off the announcment. It interupts the greetign of the person answering the phone and is off putting to clients.

My 2 cents here. This is causing our customers to think we are spam callers, which is understandable given how bad spam calls have gotten in recent times. I would also likely hang up immediately if the first thing I hear is some robotic voice saying "AI is taking notes". I've had to call back a customer and practically yell frantically "WAIT WAIT DON'T HANG UP THIS IS A PERSON THIS IS NOT A SCAM CALL". I can't imagine how this was so overlooked.

Any update on this ? .... we're 3 into this being a problem without an status update.
Surely you can simply turn the feature off completely and leave it at the discretion of the company to notify people to stay in compliance if required in that country / state.

I noticed that there is now an option, at the company level, to replace the recorded message. I replaced the messages with a second of silence but the normal message still plays.

We are having the same issue. However, it's only on specific lines not all.

any day now ring central turn this feature off

This is critical and the customers are weirded out about the notification. This needs to happen asap. Its sad we even have to have a discussion about this feature. If we can change the Call recording notification this should also be possible.

As much as I love the AI feature, the prompt/announcement at the beginning is incredibly distracting and disruptive.

This is very important for a new customer who is going live this month. there are new laws that impact call centers as well as existing ones that make any type of recorded announcement a compliance issue, notification has to be from a live human vs. a robo voice.
