  1. Currently there is not a filter available to remove or block inappropriate or offensive words from this feature. We had a customer call in and leave a message with a nickname which was incorrectly translated into a very derogatory and offensive word and emailed off. This was taken to our HR Representative. There should be some way to keep this from happening in a business installation.

  2. Provide fields to specify an alternate first and last name for users. This will help when a user has recently changed their last name, and unaware callers attempt to reach them via the dial-by-name feature using the previous name. It will also help callers to reach a user via dial-by-name when that user has alternate first names (e.g. Charlie, Chuck, etc.)

  4. I would like to be able to see all company numbers in all regions in the E164 format. This makes managing the Enterprise estate in many different countries much easier. At present all countries outside of my location show in the E164 format.

  7. When there are a large number of members in a team it would be nice to be able to create a thread from a single message. This pulls that particular conversation out of the main flow of messages so the conversation doesn't get lost and can be continued by only the applicable parties.

It would be very nice to be able to share different marketing message with every client that calls in and to rotate through a list of different marketing messages so if a client calls in multiple times they hear different messages each time giving us the chance to share multiple messages and so they don't have to hear the same thing over and over.

  9. Our company has numerous on call managers that our staff contact, primarily through texting. We need a way that an employee can text one Manager Line phone number, and depending on which manager is "on call" (i.e. who is set to available in the ring central app) that manager can receive that incoming text message and then choose to reply to it either from their own softphone extension, or respond as the or Manager Line so that the employee contacting us only interacts with one text line.   11. When inviting someone to a meeting by phone the receiver of the call must press 1 to join. If you're calling a service, like interpretation, where you key in your ID and there isn't a live rep answering the phone then you can't use this feature.

  14. The RingCentral Phone app allows you to search for Call Queues by name or extension when transferring or making a call. Receptionists searching for a Call Queue to transfer calls cannot find Call Queues by name or extension.Alternative is to import contacts for each user manually.

  15. Currently, the default language for the RC app is set to US English, even if the local settings of the users' machines are set to a different language. There should instead be an option/feature for spell check to be in different languages on the RC app.

When I'm involved in a conversation on my CELL PHONE and my desk phone rings, I would love to be able to send an instant message to the caller with a canned message by pressing buttons on my desk phone.   17. The right side panel is nice for what it can display, but it should remember what you had displayed last. I would like employees to be able to see their tasks easier, the way it is now everyday you have to change the view to display tasks.There should also be an option to only display un finished task in the right hand panel

  18. The left hand side menu bar would be more useful if you could add custom links to it, like a link to go directly to Events > All Events > Month view, so you can get there in 1 click instead of 3. This way the things you use most often are easier to access
