RingCentral Office voicemail recordings are retained indefinitely until deleted by the end user by one of three methods; RingCentral Service Portal, Google Chrome Extension, or by manually dialing into the voicemail box and deleting the message. Allow from a system administrator level the ability to set a new/old message retention period.

  4. The RingCentral Phone app will allow login via a message-only extension, but there is no functionality there. Being able to send faxes would be incredibly useful. Especially if your only option to send a fax is using the print driver (only available via the RingCentral Phone app).

Users who have been sent an activation email by mistake (non-user phone locations) can't be updated to be active unless someone get credentials - customers use fake emails to do this sometimes now knowing they should activate on their behalf. You should be able to set credentials for users already created and in a Not Activated state.

  9. When we assign users to a number there are fields for Job Title and department. We have been filling this out when setting up new users but have realised that this is causing data duplication. Is there a way we can get these fields pulled from the Active directory user that is already set up before we assign them a number. I know that our users use Microsoft Single Sign-on to sign into RC so the link to O365 is already established. We use Azure AD so if the link to O365 is there then it shouldn't a stretch to…

  11. For the missed call display on the hard phone, customer does not missed called displayed when a user misses a Queued Call or a Ring Group call. They only what to see this on the hardphone for direct DID calls to their phone. When queued or ringgorup calls are missed by one user and handled by another user, the user that missed the call could potentially call back a customer not knowing the customer already had their question/issue taken care of. Not a good customer experience (or a end user experience)

  12. lets say I want the floors mopped once a week. It doesn't matter which day so long as it gets done once a week. So I create a task for it and my employee gets a notification on Monday to mop the floors but if he doesn't remember to do it that day it is simply forgotten because there are no reminders. It would be nice if another notification was sent at least daily to remind the user that he/she has an uncompleted task. Everybody would benefit from this .   13. My Admin Team and I have to cover many lines. I would like to assign a different ringtone to each individual line. Right now, I can only change the ringtones for the attendant line entirely. So for example, If I want to make the ringtone a low trill, it changes ALL the lines. I would like Line 1 to be a Low Trill, Line 2 to be a High Trill, and so on. Can you make this feature possible?   14. I work from home and use my cell phone/RC app for the majority of my calls. Aside from seeing my office number, there is not a distinction of personal/work calls. I like seeing the persons number so I can search the account as I am receiving the phone call to help with customer service and the person feeling like we care.   16. At this point, it looks like the only way to contact a client in a blocked country is to unblock the whole country which can have negative repercussions. Add the ability to whitelist individual numbers in a blocked country so that clients in that country can be serviced via phone calls.

We have a need to soon create up to 200 call queues for varying locations that all require different phone numbers with differing area codes.We have a group of managers that need to be the ones to update the call queue membership, thus they need to have call queue manager access to each one.
